Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Bertrand Township

0/10 would NOT recommend. On 9/6/2022 I placed an order for an ice cream cake to be picked up on September 16, 2022. This cake was supposed to be my daughter’s 16th birthday cake. When I showed up to pick the cake up on my daughter’s birthday, September 16, the entire store was closed. I tried calling the store and there was no answer. I double checked my confirmation email, the cake was supposed to be picked up on 9/16/22, they did have my correct email address and phone number, but I received absolutely NO communication from them in an attempt to notify me that my daughter wouldn’t have a birthday cake for whatever reason. There isn’t a single excuse that would be acceptable in this situation. Please, don’t make the mistake that I did, DO NOT trust this DQ location with anything as they obviously don’t care about their customers whatsoever.

DO trust the Granger Dairy Queen though. They were willing and able to make my daughter a completely custom cake with no notice after hearing what happened (or didn’t happen) at the state line location and despite having no actual affiliation still apologized for...

The man claiming to be the district manager came to our table and ask us to leave because we had been there for almost 30 mins and we haven’t bought anything. Little did he know we had placed a mobile order 15 mins prior. After we told him this he asked for the name like we were lying among other words of how we should have told him before. My husband said he didn’t have to be a dick. The general manager then proceeded to escalate the situation by raising his voice not to come at him like that and we don’t know who he is and proceeded to try and fight my husband. I asked for our food so we could leave but it was not even done yet !!!! He refused to give us his name or a number for corporate. I am in management and this is not how you handle this kind of situation. After hearing we indeed have an order he should have apologized and went on his way. He should be ashamed of himself acting this way in front of my 2 year old. If that man would have hit my husband dairy Queen would have a pretty big lawsuit. I suggest you get your leadership under control before you do indeed...

What a joke we have been getting our dog a pup cup from here for over a few years never again we ordered a blizzard and a pup cup for our dog..after she handed us the a plastic cup with about a teaspoon of ice cream and 2 small crumbled dog treats on it cost for over 2 dollars ....I said this is not right where's the ice cream she just looked at us like she just swallowed kitty litter then said to me do you want me add more icecream.....I said yes I did pay over 2 dollars for this she left and came back with the same amount of icecream with different broken treat in the middle with a small amount of ice cream over it this time never again ......and when I got home for some reason my dog would not touch it he has never done that .....strange he would never pass up ice cream always ate it before. Hum!!!!! You just lost customers yesterday burger King gave my dog a free ice cream...
