My Taco Express — Restaurant in Indiana

Never ever judge a book by its cover. When I saw this place driving past it, I didn’t give it the credit it was due. I pulled over to read the reviews tho, because I was very curious and love Mexican food. They have a perfect score which seemed too good to be true. Once my daughter and I walked in to a very warm welcome from very nice employees, a very clean restaurant inside, and super fresh ingredients, we were left eating some of the best tacos we have ever had. I can’t recommend trying this place highly enough. They explained how the recipes come straight from their family passed down over the years, and it’s very obvious in every bite you take. They deserve all these amazing reviews and I urge you to get in and start exploring their menu today! Loved it, and will definitely come back over...

I've been here twice, the food is good. I've tried the corn soft tacos (chicken), chips & salsa, cheese dip, tres leches & horchata. I will say the most exceptional item is the chips & salsa, tacos were good. Tres leches wasn't anything to write home about, or didn't taste super authentic.

I will say what is keeping me from returning this location is the $8 in tax I was charged for my meal. It cost over $30 for a basket of chips, salsa and tacos. I repeated the cost back to the person who took my order and he assured me the price was accurate. What I don't get is how there is +$8 in taxes?!? I feel ripped off and will not be returning.

Came here for the first time and loved it!! Beautiful restaurant, very clean and nice seating areas. Everyone was so kind and our take out food came out quickly! I was looking at one of the beautiful cupcakes they had on display because it is made with my favorite candy and asked the woman behind the counter what was in it. After we walked out of the door, she came out after us and brought me the Mazapán cupcake, all wrapped up and said she would love it if I tried it and to tell her how I liked the food the next time I was in! Amazing staff, great atmosphere, the flautas were really good with fresh lettuce and the beans were great! Can’t wait to eat...
