Subway — Restaurant in Berwick

Friendly staff greeted me immediately upon walking in even though she was making subs for customers. Very good service! Although only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we got 4 subs & she crammed them all into a tiny bag, then when we asked for a 2nd bag because ONE of them was going to a different place she put it into a large bag, common sense would've said do things the opposite way, so we had to stop to switch them around ourselves so they fit better & weren't being mangled. Also they didn't mark the subs so we had to unwrap them mark them then rewrap them each, would've preferred they do it because the stickers don't hold the paper closed well after opening once. Otherwise everything was great, & I'll DEFINITELY go again, ESPECIALLY since it's within walking distance plus she cut my footlong into quarters like I asked without giving me attitude as I've had happen other places (including...

Berwick Maine 10:45am I walked in and nobody was up front - all the food was open. She comes around and greeted me kindly but warned the debit machine might not work. I said ok and risked it. I order a turkey sandwich with bacon but only the bacon cooked… she grabbed two pieces of bacon that already looked to be cooked and burnt them. I looked over at veggies and they were brown and dry. She started putting brown lettuce on my sandwich and I finally said that’s really brown. She goes “well I’m not sure my other lettuce will be any better” and I pointed at the fresh green bin and said “ that one right there?” . 11:45am - I understand it’s hard to find good workers however this was the worst experience at this location since moving here last year. The sub artist rang me and the 4 people in line behind me up before he made our subs. Then he made our orders all at the same time. This was especially frustrating as I should have walked out 15 minutes earlier if done correctly.

Additionally, he just threw the meat on there. I asked for LTO, pickles, cucumbers, and banana peppers, he put a decent amount of lettuce but ONLY THREE tomatoes, pickles, and cucumbers each. Then loaded it with sauce making it disgusting to eat. Very disappointed. I will go back if another, better trained, sandwich...
