From the beginning, Cigars & Stripes has always just been Ronnie sharing his life with friends and the general public. From way back in the day when he managed wrestlers (before wrestling was even cool), to mastering the art of old school hand pin-striping in the back of the original Cigars garage - Ronnie shared his private stashes of quality cigars and fantastic hot sauces, before hot sauces were even popular (think late 1980's).

Ronnies vision (as I saw it) was home, the home he opened his doors to for friends to come by and hang out, which there was always something cool going on - something usually out of the ordinary that you bragged about weeks later.. I was a day one kind of customer, the kind that sat on a milk crate at the old store watching tv and trying some of the original "HOT" hot sauces, while Ronnie pinstriped a car in the back, it was BYOB because it wasn't a bar yet, but that came soon with the purchase of the current building.

What Ronnie put together is an extension of himself. Cigars & Stripes has to be the friendliest place around (just like Ronnie), and the food he serves there is quality. You go there because you know what you are getting - and you know its going to be damn good. Ronnie likes to turn people on to brews he finds that are outstanding - but yet he keeps the regular suds on hand to keep the people satisfied.

Lets talk hot sauces and cigars. You will be hard pressed to find a better selection locally, of what you want. His stock is always fresh and well maintained , and anyone saying otherwise is just being utterly critical.

Also worth mentioning because someone called the establishment racist, BULLSHT- AND I MEAN BULLSHT ! My family is Hispanic and has always been treated with respect when they have frequented here as I have seen many customers of many colors that patronize the bar. So whoever said that - you should seek professional help, you need it.
