Read moreI took my mother out to breakfast. Fortunately we were the only people there. I believe they just opened. Unfortunately for us we picked the wrong place. The beads are extremely spicy. I don't know what they put in them. Who orders an omelette with nothing in it cuz that's the way they would have brought it to me after I said ham and cheese. I know. I know you don't go to a Mexican place for an omelette but they didn't have what I wanted. Which is Machacado. Our waitress and the rice were the bright spots of the restaurant. I just have one small, not even an issue. If you're going to be a waitress, you have to learn to understand English as well. You may not have to speak it but you should understand it. My omelet was plain. As I said, the beans were very spicy. Neither my mother nor myself finished our food. I left more than half of my food. Will we go back is the question? The answer is no. I'll get straight to it. The food was decent 7 out of 10. They do have option of hand made tortillas corn or flower. Had the Huarache Steak, steak seemed like it was precooked even though I did ask for it well done not burnt or crispy. It was still nicely flavored. It was definitely nice size serving veggie toppings on it were fresh.
My partner has the Plate of Carne aside she ordered it medium well. It was very tended a little under seasoned but it was still nice.
As food certified 18year restaurant manager. There are some thing's they need to fix and clean. The kitchen is very open. The storage area where the food is being held in a MEAT display. The back stoves are very filthy. It's a new location/ remodeled there for the expectations cleanliness should be better. Also hid the mouse/ roach traps. Clean under the food holding refrigerator and where the coffee machine is located.
