Classic Burger & BBQ Inc — Restaurant in Bessemer

I visited this establishment today. I ordered a lb of pork, Pint of potato salad, and a half pint of Bbq sauce. I also, ordered the same from 2 other local Bbq establishments within 30 minutes of each other during peak lunch hours. I look the food products to the park and has 5 friends meet me there for lunch. All products were sampled individually, and in identical containers, with green marker design on bottom to identify to me which establishment the food products came from. No test subjects even looked at the bottom of the serving dish. 5 out of 5 picked Classic Burger and Bbq as the best meat, when compared to the other 2 local establishments between Hueutown and Bessemer. I'm in the food industry myself. I'm very sad to say. That was some of the nastiest ribs that have ever had. The sides was horrible. The meat was very under cooked. The ribs came out of the refrigerator and was served to us cold out of a to go box. Fries were not done. The best thing that I had was the sweet tea and lemonade. The staff was very professional. The lady at the cash register was on point and helpful. This is not the business for you ever is running the restaurant. Very clean environment was a plus. I ordered to of the #6 specials which was burgers, my two loved it. The burgers was homemade and nice size. It was worth it. I ordered a sampler for myself which was 2 ribs with bone, chopped BBQ, and 1/4 chicken which was the breast and wing, with Mac n cheese, and Baked beans. Now my ribs was kinda on the dry side, the chopped BBQ was about the same, so I skipped out on trying the chicken. The Mac n cheese was a disappointment, just broke my little heart!. The bake beans was ok. I can't say I won't visit anymore, but I will not be going out my way...
