This was one of my father's favorite bars in Bessemer. He is now deceased but I will never forget the last day that I seen him alive. He was at Alabama Al's drinking as usual and I went by then he came out to see all the grandkids it was getting close to Christmas time and he was asking them all what they wanted for Christmas. He was also grabbing at his chest and trying to turn away from me so I didn't see but I did and I asked him daddy what's wrong he said nothing just got the heart burn.I could tell it was more &begged him 2go 2Dr.but he hated going 2the Hospital or Dr.He was hard headed-Yep that's where I get it from.. my dad really enjoyed going in to this bar and talkin I'm cutting out with his friends our so-called friends that went in there this was one of the mini bars in Bessemer that he enjoyed hanging out at.
