During my visit two weeks ago, I ordered a snow cone and was disappointed to find an excessive amount of ice cream at the bottom. It seemed like half of the cup was filled with ice cream, leaving very little room for the syrup on top. The ice cream was so densely packed that I couldn't even insert the straw into the cup. In order to address the issue, I politely approached someone to request a remake with less ice cream at the bottom. The staff member took my request but did not provide any further explanation.
Fast forward to my recent visit, the owner was working at the window. Recognizing me, she immediately brought up my previous complaint about the snow cone. Instead of acknowledging my concern, she argued that she had prepared it correctly and insisted that my complaint was unnecessary. To my surprise, she even mentioned that my name was on a board with a list of people who had complained. I didn't understand why this information was relevant to the situation, so I simply acknowledged it.
I paid for my order and received a my order . However, this time the amount of ice cream was even more excessive, filling half of the cup, and there was an overflow of syrup on top. This made the whole experience quite frustrating, especially when compared to my daughter's snow cone, which was prepared correctly. It's disheartening that such a high price, nearly $9 for two snow cones, one that wasn’t made correctly and the owner being...
Read moreThe first time I went to Aloha, I asked for a salted caramel hot chocolate. The girl had never made one and it was NOT on the menu. She never once told me she couldn't do it. She figured it out and it is way better than Starbucks. I have since become a regular customer making at least 2 or 3 trips here a week to get their delicious pumpkin pie latte, salted caramel hot chocolate, snowcones or their very good sandwiches. I have not once had an employee be rude to me. They are all very friendly! I now have my employees hooked on this place. When my daughter went away to military bootcamp, the first place she wanted to go when she got back was Aloha! They even gave her a free snowcone! This place is top notch and is definitely worth the money! The owner is very hands on with customers, friendly and down to earth! Love this little...
Read moreGreat cozy place for drinks but not so much for the food. It's more known for its drinks and hanging out outside. Very small quarters inside. Drive through is very nice so us lazies (me) don't have to walk inside. Employees are always very friendly. You have to try a "snowball" (snowcone) Hawaiian style, so good! The medium is pretty large, see photo. My husband got the medium captain america with sweet cream for $3.75. I love coffee and recommend the peppermint white chocolate mocha, salted caramel macchiato, and rasberry white chocolate mocha ($5.75 for a medium frap). You can get creative and add any flavors. My mom has ordered the chicken salad with chips before and said it was okay. Personally, I like to see places stick with their specialties, which in this case is snowcones and drinks. The food is alright. Hence...
