I wish I had better things to say about this very cute little spot.

Unfortunately, both the meatballs and chicken Parm were both reheated in the oven and ended up dried out and burnt. How hard is it to blanch precooked pasta in hot water? Why would you ever put it into the oven to get hard and crispy? Why can you not bread the chicken in advance and drop it to be fried to order? Why don't you have your meatballs sitting in a pot of sauce instead of reheated in the oven. So many why's. I feel if there was a little more effort this place could be great but when your food isn't fresh you're wasting my time.

But holy hell, the pork chop. I would come back again and again for this pork chop. It was clearly the only thing made to order and it was one of the best I have ever had. The hash would have been amazing if it wasn't a little burnt but it was still REALLY good. The green beans on the side were seasoned perfectly and fresh. I can't believe this sits alongside the other items on this menu. It's like I got food from two different restaurants.

I'd love to see more grilled items - steaks, lamb chops, etc. Italian is not the right choice for this spot. But if you go, get...

We arrived when it opened at 4:00 and we're seated promptly at the table about choice. We sat outside, nice atmosphere other than the constant truck traffic on the main road.

Our waitress was courteous and thoughtful.

Our food was delicious and piping hot.

My only critique about the service, and if the restaurant reads these, it would help them, was; After we ordered our drinks and meal our waitress took the drink menu. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. When we were finished the waitress asked us about dessert but did not give us a chance to have more than one drink. The bread was served with the meal, not before the meal as an appetizer. Could be because we were there when it opened and everyone sat down at once. I would think if that's normal that the restaurant could come up with some process to alleviate that.

Do not let any of this dissuade you from visiting this restaurant, again food was great, great atmosphere, and...

Ok! So, drinks...amazing! Definitely will return for the bar vibe, however, they need to work on their menu. As a GF patron, many of their items were labels GF on their menu, but upon inquiring, we found that most of what they have labeled as GF is inaccurate. They use a shared fryer for their wings, fries, etc that they label as GF...so for anyone who is intolerate or has Celiac disease this is a major problem. We ended up ordering just the scallops and bacon, which as you can see was definitely a small portion...all for the steep price of $18! Also, it appears as though it's an Italian restaurant, but their menu is all over the place. They have snacks, such as wings and poutine (neither of which we could have), then pizza and a couple pasta dishes (again no GF option , how difficult is it to have GF pasta?), and some random farm to table type entrees. If you have no allergies, it's a great place to venture to, but if you have allergies,...

The food was delicious, with generous portions. The menu offered a nice variety of options and we enjoyed our selections very much. This included the chicken parm and the squash ravioli. The wine selection was perfectly acceptable and a limited number of mixed drinks were available. The staff was friendly, helpful and played along with our obnoxious banter. Matt (who we dubbed "Brandon" mistakenly) was exceptionally gracious and helpful with making menu selections. He was a perfect person to have at the front of the house. We would happily become regulars based on our experience. I would recommend reservations as seating and parking look to be tight during prime times. We dined in the heated tent set up on the restaurant patio, and while not fancy, it was acceptable in light of us calling without reservations and the most minor of inconvenience for the quality of the meals we had.

Updated Review - 2nd visit on a Wed at 6pm: Took an hour for food to come out, waitress didn't come by to refill drinks, we had to ask about the food or we were ready to walk out. Seemed short of staff in kitchen and out front. Whole experience was a fail compared to our 1st visit. We won't come back, too risky, it ruined our evening. 1st visit: Great little find, busy place with a bar in the lower level. Unique appetizers and desserts, plus classic Italian dishes, wine, cocktails, beer. More of an adults place than for families, good for date night or meeting up with friends. We had the fried artichokes, deviled eggs, eggplant and chicken parmesan, dense chocolate cake with a hint of marsala. Was the only place open for dinner in Bethlehem on a Wednesday night, would go again.
