Nick’s Pizza, Subs & Roast Beef — Restaurant in Beverly

What an awful awful experience! I will never return! I get there with my buddy and he orders his food and I order mine next! No big deal right. He gets his food about 5-7 minutes later as I sit there to continue to wait for my food. 25 mins later after I watch numerous amounts of people including a group of three that came in and ordered and got there food before me also. Terrible customer service went there to eat my food there and ended up having to take home. Oh yea all I had was a super beef and a small fry LOL. So they pretty much forgot to make my order. The older women with shorter hair is extremely rude too. The card swipe wouldn’t work and instead of taking the time to just type in the in the card number she kept asking me for different card.. Like no it’s a debit card with money on it LOL. I will never step foot in your store again....

Great subs! Stuffed full of your favorite bits. The roast beef is outstanding. The absolute best eggplant parm sub I've found on North Shore. Then they have the add ons that not everybody stocks like banana peppers & fresh cucumber. Terrific calzones too.

V nice ppl run the joint. Clean, well lit, good prices. It's hard for sub & pizza joints to differentiate themselves without going all exotic & $$$, but Nick's does it right. (1 star off on Atmosphere isn't a ding: This is a pizza & sub shop, not a fine-dining restaurant. No one is here for the atmosphere. That said, Nicks is more pleasant than most & far more so than some.)

BTW, there are a bunch of shops called Nick's one-thing-or-another kinda like what happened to Ray's in NYC, but THIS is the one you want - just a half block NE of Montserrat MBTA...

I don't write reviews unless they are truly special. I build railroad track and was doing the crossing next to them. I called up and got the usual pick or delivery question. I said if you'll deliver to my machine parked directly behind you I'll take delivery joking and the lady said yes. Mind you it's pouring rain and no reason why I couldn't walk to their front door. The lady told me she would put a rush on it and I'd have it in 5 mins. She lied it was like 3 mins and it's was nice and hot. Cooked perfectly. First hot meal I've had in 2 days since I had gone to work. Great service very nice people and I'm impressed good steak n cheese. I'd recommend this to anyone. People like that...
