The Avocado Pit — Restaurant in Beverly

Brought by a friend to try the new place in Beverly Farms. If you are familiar with Panchero's then the process they have will be familiar, heating the large burrito tortilla on the tortilla grill from there it gets down to small business art. We were there kind of late so I didn't see any Carne Asada so I chose the pork with a little chorizo added. The selection of add ons rice, beans ( three kinds) salsa's, jalapeno's are all there for you to build your own. When its done it is sealed back on the grill so that it doesn't come apart ez to eat for road trippin. Great flavors, that small business attention to detail and friendliness make it worth the stop. Incredible, amazing, fabulous!!! Local and family owned, can’t beat that. Sasha was working and was such a pleasure and so helpful with food decisions. I love food and was in the area and saw great google reviews for this place. Just wanted something small to snack on after the beach. Got chicken empanadas with their special sauce (forgot the name). The chicken was so tender and the flavors were great. Empanada was nice and crisp, tried it with the sauce and amazing. I can keep coming back for just these. Also got chips and guacamole, probably the best guacamole I’ve had! A must! Place is new and cute, had no seating but great take out and everything was fast. Fresh food and great people, can’t wait to come back...

These are the best burritos and tacos in Massachusetts. Better than the places in Chelsea. It's honestly in competition with Mexican places in Southern California. They make make their own cheese, ok? It's nuts. The attention to detail is crazy high. It seems like a very casual experience, which it is to some degree but the quality of food is crazy. From the Chorizo to the steak it's all perfectly cooked and amazingly well seasoned. And do even get me started on the sauces. I think they have 6 or 7 homemade sauces that you can top your food with, and you should. It's just amazing food. If you're in the area give it a shot. I can promise you that anything you get here will completely stomp on Chipotle or anything...
