Richy's — Restaurant in Big Bend

Excellent slight dive bar. I've been going here for 15 years and know most of the staff and Richy. Drink prices are very good and the interior has been recently remodeled. Bands on some days, free pool on certain days, and there is a slightly enclosed small porch up front that you can drink at or smoke if you smoke. They sometime have pool leagues, dart ball leagues, and regular dart leagues. Bartenders are all excellent, especially Sheila with her jokes and outgoing personality. Only the most basic of bar food - pizza oven items, beef jerkey, popcorn, chips, etc. They occasionally have patrons or Richy bringing in hot food for parties or no reason at all that someone will offer you some chips...

Have come several times to see a popular country duo. Every time we get there hours ahead of time to get a table or seat at the bar & every time the tables are 'saved' by regulars. We usually end up at seats by the slot machines & the nearby 'saved' tables are barely occupied & then some of those occupants come to our 'space' to play slot machines and we feel like we're pushed aside. It definitely has a 'regulars' vibe and I'm done with the place. It's unfortunate because we love the country duo we see there, but tired of the atmosphere that seems to be owned by the regulars. The owner should not allow these regulars to just take over the tables/seating and we will go elsewhere to see this...

Atmosphere was fun. Bartender had a bit to drink, called me a "C" and wasn't going to pay me my winnings from the slot machine. The bartender stated that I'd been in there before and was incredibly rude to her. I've only been in there one time before and never had any interaction with the bartender. I would NEVER be rude to those that are servicing others. I will never go back to this place. I finally did get my money, bought a round for the bar and...
