Giovanni's Roast Beef and Pizza — Restaurant in Billerica

First- I rarely post reviews but this place deserves special attention. I know it won't change much but their behavior deserves a forever presence on the internet!

We're new to the area and decided to order food from here. There are a bunch of stores nearby, so after some trial and error, on their OWN app, I find the store that delivers to me.

After the whole process of email verifications etc, I am able to place the order. I get charged immediately. Minutes later I get a call from a guy adamant that I ordered from the wrong location. I apologized (not sure why) and said that was the location that said it delivered to me. He was short and rude and said "well I'm not sending a driver out there to deliver food. It's not going to happen." He was immediately rude and was acting like this was my fault. I then said verbatim "well that kinda sucks. I really wanted the food. You should probably talk to the app people because the app says this is the store that delivers to me." His was response was to hang up. I called back multiple times looking for his name to complain. He just kept disconnecting the call. When I finally did talk to him his just spoke over me and said he wouldn't deliver. When he finally let me speak I told him I just wanted his name. He said "I own the whole store." I responded "well then you shouldn't be ashamed to give me your name then?" He said "it's not important" and hung up.

I called a little later and a woman answered. I said "I understand you can't deliver the food but all I would like is the name of the person I spoke to as he was very rude." Her answer was "I'm the owner" and then she hung up on me!! This is beyond crazy and actually comical!

Quality people! They are rude but refuse to own it and give their name. Not a place I will ever do business....

I frequently order a half shrimp and half steak salad from Giovanni's at the Billerica location because it is conveniently down the street from my work and usually pretty good. The portions are usually very reasonable and they even know me by a first name basis. Today I got my usual order and I only received two very small pieces of steak and two small shrimp in my salad and was charged $15. I usually don't complain but I was very disappointed so decided to call to let them know. A man answered the phone and was extremely rude and defensive. When I told him my concern about the lack of protein the man told me he knew I was lying and was very disrespectful towards me. That is no way to treat any customer never mind a returning costumer. After he abruptly hung up on me after calling me a liar multiple times, a woman called back. She stated they weigh the salads so that's not true. She then stated there was nothing she could do because I should have called right away and she would have come picked the salad back up and gave me a credit. I explained I was on my lunch break at work and only have a certain designated time to eat. She was also very abrupt with me and rude. When I told her I wouldn't be coming back she said "do whatever you want". Not only was I disappointed with the food and portions but extremely upset with their lack of customer service by multiple employees. I will not be giving them my...

I have never been treated with the disrespect I received from the son of the woman who is in charge here. If I ordered something and they didn't have it, I would expect a phone call, but after waiting an hour and 20 minutes for my food then recieving something I didn't order I called. I called and got instant attitude from him. He blamed me for the fact that HIS distributor didn't restock him and then yelled at me that we are in a pandemic and that I'm harassing him. All I did was call and ask for a refund and I even offered to bring the food back ! He wouldn't give me a refund and basically told me to screw before hanging up on me. If you have any respect for yourself you won't go here ( I came here repeatedly multiple times a week during the pandemic because I was trying to support local places and this is how they treated me. ) I wish I gave my business to...
