Not sure if there's new management or a new cook, but this was not the Gold Star of past visits. The unsweet tea was cloudy and tasted (and looked) similar to pond water. The home fries were ok, but the fairly large chunks also seemed somewhat unappealing. The cheese omelette was soggy and overly moist, and it only had slices of American cheese, which to me is akin to putting jelly on a hot dog. I bet $2 they used to have colby jack or cheddar. The biscuit was tasty but large and so flat it could barely be cut in half. We'll be back because you'd be hard pressed to get the level of service provided here at the vast majority of other restaurants! Hey, let's face it - everyone has a bad day now and then.

Read moreWhy I was impressed: Waitresses are welcoming and attentive Environment is friendly towards young parents and infants as well as towards those whose first language is not English My eggs were cooked perfectly… (I am extremely picky about how my eggs are fried and this was the first time ever that they were cooked to my liking.) Given softened butter for pancakes Unlimited coffee refills The restaurant supplies ketchup that is produced in the USA (The company who produces this product also donates to “Folds of Honor” which is a charity that supports families who have lost someone in the line of duty.) Glasses were clean Nursing friendly environment Restrooms were extremely well kept Husband was offered a to-go coffee (It was a very cold and snowy day so I found the waitress’s offer to be very considerate and kind.)
My husband and I are extremely sentimental so when we visit here next year, we will definitely be stopping by for...

(WITH NO MEAT. AKA CHEESE.) My sister begins to eat it, and there's ham in the omelette. HAM WHEN WE CLESRLY STATED SHE WAS ALLERGIC. Our waitress went, and told the cooks, and they laughed. My sister had an allergic reaction. She had to use her epipen. Then, my mom order combo breakfast platter #2, and she got platter #1, but on our recipet it said Combo platter #2. We also told the waitress, and she just smirked. Then, also a sign that say kids eat free with purchase of a 7$ entree on Thursday. ( note : the type of entree was not specified.) we told the manger, and he said it had to be a dinner entree. Why does the sign specifically say what type of entree? Our bill was like 50$. This...
