Finn’s — Restaurant in Birdseye

This place should have been named the overflow because it’s basically an overflow for Benny’s off the water. I had high hopes for the restaurant since they took over the old Birds Nest property but I’m sorely disappointed. They took a dive bar and white washed it void of any personality. Let’s discuss the food and service. Both not good. We waited 25-30 mins for a waitress to come around with very few patrons.The food was sub par. Flat breads are dry and devoid of flavor. Quesadillas are 2 messy pieces that needs quarter cut served with a tube of sour cream gas...

We came to Patoka lake for the day with some friends. We were going to sit on the patio, but a storm was rolling in. We ordered the Flatbread pizza, a burger and fries, and I personally order 12 wings. The food was phenomenal, and the service was excellent. We came on a Saturday, so they had karaoke. When they started that up, the party just began. It felt like a hometown bar that welcomed us and our families. Everyone was friendly and the owner thanked us before we left.

Best wings I’ve ever had along with great service and live music equals an amazing evening had by all! We will definitely be back! Finn’s will not disappoint and the owner’s are top notch.
