Ok (DON'T LET THE OUTSIDE STOP YOU FROM GOING INSIDE) let's get into it Sunday after Chirch expected delays enjoy some lovely conversation with others guests and ask what they like plenty to choose from it's around 20.00 a plate but it's 2 meals in one you get ALOT of servings definitely get a homemade dessert 🥧 o my they are known for southern comfort food so consider Thanksgiving without the Turkey or Ham instead you get OX tail or Bake Chicken, Pork chops it changes from day to day it seems again expected delays we'll worth it 👌 I promise they serve it as fast as they can ring it up. Read moreFood was not so good today. The green beans were super mushy, corn muffins didn’t have a taste, collards tasted a little scorched, yams were just ok . I’ve had so much better from here. If this was my first time it would definitely be my last. But I’ve had southern soul food at its best from here so I will revisit at some point in the not so near future.
So some lady from Eagle’s just called me with the nastiest attitude this morning @ 8:30 about the above review. She asked what was wrong, as if it wasn’t clear in the post, and I respectfully repeated what the problem was. She said she’s decided not to put the potatoes in the green beans again because they tend to get mushy but the beans were mushy. After that she really turned argumentative. I told her that my son had “fried corn” and it turned out to be just cream corn. She went OFF saying they can’t always get fresh corn and this isn’t the time of the year for it. And in the same breath said we just got some and that her corn was good 👀I told her that I stated in the post that I’ve gotten great food from them before and that I would be back. Read moreBy far 1 of the worst experiences, long wait times, terrible management, stood in line 50min for a veggie plate, someone took our order outside in a long hot line, gave our ticket with the food we want back to us then u walk up to the window and give it to the cashier, the food already done And cooked and sitting on a steam table all day why does it take 50min to fix the plates only 10 people were in front of me. The system & ordering process is torture & needs to be revamped, the mgr was complaining that the cook wanted to many smoke breaks! Only 3people working & moving slow as snails, then when u ask why it took so long, they get an attitude with you! This experience today puts a bad taste in my mouth about eagles & the 2 little sides I did get, I couldn’t eat because it’s to salty! Please do better next time by your potential clients!
