Prime Champagne Bar — Restaurant in Birmingham

My friend and I both ordered the prime location. (She got the drink and I got the drink) As demonstrated on the menu below, we assumed that the cocktail was like the other cocktail sizes. The waitress told us that was a big drink, but never specified “how big” when we asked what she meant by that. She just said “they are big”. She brought the drinks out and they were definitely very large. They both had 4 straws in each cup….

The owner (Chance) came around. My friend and I explained how we were frustrated because we were not told that this was a drink that could be split between 2 or more people. It was also not mentioned on the menu. Once again, we assumed it was regular cocktail size based on the menu and the waitress never explained how big it actually was. Chance told us the drink was $50 each, but he offered us a 20% discount.

The waitress came around and she explained that the menu USED TO SAY the drink was for 2-4 people. She assumed we were just trying to have a good time, but I explained to her that it was our first time at the establishment. She said she would go talk to the owner about it. Once we got the check, we were only given a 10% discount…. PATHETIC! :)

Overall, the vibe was good. HOWEVER, prices (or how many people can drink from one drink) should’ve been explicitly stated. It’s frustrating, because we were unaware of how “big” this drink was. We strongly feel like we should’ve been told that this drink can satisfy 2-4 people since we did come in a group and we both ordered the same thing! Seems a little money hungry if...

My wife and I went on a Thursday eve (7:30 ish).Although there were few guest during the time we were there.Out bartender ( YAY!!!!) was both courteous and knowledgeable about the product.We ordered the Prime Location 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.The bathroom was both accommodating and CLEAN!!! The manager ( handsome, bald, well dressed, friendly black man…sitting at bar ) did all that could have been expected to provide the how may I “ be of service” vibe …The staff could tell it was a date night and offered us cards and made sure we felt comfortable and catered to. As a same gender loving couple it is important to have spaces that celebrate us as well. Than you and we look forward to...

Nothing brings a community together like a trashy bar that doesn’t serve food and desperately wishes it was a club. Perfectly situated below a residential apartment so it can bump wall-shaking bass until 2am every night. Getting fleeced by the idiotic owners who can’t even muster the wherewithal to put prices on a menu so they can charge whatever they please is a real treat to boot.
