Cafe Milano — Restaurant in Blades

I found MY MOTHER DECEASED last week. The Lucas machine thankfully brought her back. After many tragic days in the ICU. She was taken off of life support. The first food she wanted to eat was a sub from here. I went excitingly to old friends updating them. One of them went and used my name and got our order that I had prepaid for. I HOPED they would have done the RIGHT thing. No I was told to dispute it from our bank. I told them to look at their cameras and look at MY ID AND ME. Refused to do it. I have NEVER been more disgusted in an establishment ever. This has been one of the worst weeks of my families lives. There are absolutely no words for what they did. & how they conducted themselves. There wasn’t a single I’m sorry. Nothing. No compassion, no respect, just unconcerned and pathetic.

Stopped at Cafe Milano for a quick meal while on the way to track nationals in VA. While it was out if the way, my family and I craved some authentic Italian food and needed to carb load ahead of the track races. Ordered the penne with vodka sauce and double grilled shrimp, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. All three meals were EXCELLENT and the cost was more than reasonable! Kudos to the chef, amazing food, friendly staff, and the restaurant was neat and clean. The burger and fries were absolutely delicious! The 10.99 Med "NY styled" pizza on the other hand, left allot to be desired. It was left in the oven a little longer than it should have. Was extremely flat, lacking ingredients.slices were cut rediculously large. Crust was hard. And took an hour to receive my delivery. I only live two blocks away straight shot down the street! All in all the burger and potato wedges were good enough, I'd pay the 8$ it costs to eat it again. May be a once a week...
