Rico's Café and Pizzeria — Restaurant in Blair Township

Wow, this is my second time eating here and I've never left a restaurant feeling so upset and taken advantage of. We went with a party and all order the $12.00 buffet. When we first sat down we told or server that we would like a plain pepperoni pizza if that's possible she said yes no problem. We then waited for 45 minutes and the server came back to say that the owner didn't want to put out another pizza. (There was still an hour left to the buffet) I asked the server if I could talk to the owner and he came over and immediately cut me off to say that he's been doing this for 40 years and he knows what he's doing. They still charged us for the buffet but we did not eat it, I asked if we could at least get a discount and he told me that it was my problem I didn't like his pizza he put out. After we got up to leave he came back and offered to make us a pizza which we would have to wait for again at this point I was so appalled that an owner would treat a customer that way. If you've been doing this for 40 years I'm very sorry that you haven't learned in that amount of time that return customers are worth more than a 12 dollar pizza. I will never be back...

I am a seasonal customer, early spring until end of summer & I look forward to having my Sunday breakfasts with family & friends @ least once a month, if not more, at Rico's. OMG!!! The best bread pudding ever!! I have been coming here for 15 + yrs (maybe even 20 + yrs, if memory serves me correctly) for Sunday breakfast buffet & I am never disappointed with anything here, including the pizza, burgers, & fries, very comfortable atmosphere, cozy & welcoming environment, to say the least.. I already have it in my head, that IF there is the off chance something is not up to par, the bread pudding puts everything over the top! Great food, great service, great people, great memories, just an all around great place to be! I can not wait to make it up there next spring, Sunday morning breakfast, here I come!! Until then... Some relatives said they had ate here so I decided to try it out. Sierria is who waited on us. She was very nice, overall good waitress.

Ordered the bar burger and the "Jimmy". First off the "Jimmy" didn't come with mayo. I ordered the bar burger Well done, got medium well. Not a huge deal so I decided to not have them recook it. Halfway through the burger my mom lets the waitress know the mistake. I said it wasn't a big deal but the waitress insisted she let the owner/cook know.

The owner said he could fix the problem real quick... He comes back with a newly cooked patty, but with the previous half eaten bun, lettuce and tomato, and no bacon or onion. Normal you remake the entire burger.

Pretty unacceptable. Ended up taking it off the bill, even though they said they can only recook the burger. Thankful for that. Not sure if I would...
