Tony's Pizza — Restaurant in Blakely

My entire family has eaten this pizza since we were kids! We love it! People from out of town dont seem to understand this type of pizza, but to me and my friends and family it’s a staple in the area! I read the two or three unwarranted bad reviews and had to come to the rescue here! I know for a fact if they just talked to the staff, they would have had their experience turned around INSTANTLY! They are super accommodating, especially with requests on how you specifically like your pizza cooked, prepared…anything!! The staff here is amazing, always super friendly. I feel comfortable, like I'm around my family when I'm inside Tonys! Ive eaten their pizza on HUNDREDS of occasions, never once have i had a bad experience with the food!

Honestly, those people who left those reviews, i think it says more about them as people than it does...

With so many different types of pizza in NEPA, that can literally vary from town to town, the “best pizza in the region” is really going to come down to your personal style preference. For me, this place hits on pretty much everything. Thinner crust than most in the area, crispy golden crust and bottom, delicious cheese blend, and a tangy sauce with just enough sweetness to enhance the flavor - not disgustingly sugary like other places known for their “sweet sauce”. Not greasy whatsoever. Obviously get the extra sauce on top, even though it’s still good without it. I can easily down a half tray of the square - it’s so good. Pagash and meatball subs are also great. Prices are lower than most in the area. ...

2 weeks ago my wife and I were traveling from Colorado to visit my daughter and her family in Massachusetts. We stopped in Throop to visit my cousin. I lived in Olyphant back in the 50s and we used to eat Tony's pizza all of the time. I called the guys at Tony's and asked them if they could put together the shells and sauce for 11 people. We picked up the pizzas and headed off to Massachusetts. Everyone was amazed at how good the pizzas were and they all really loved the sauce.
