Clean, well kept restaurant in the downtown Blissfield area. Been coming here for years. They had a change of ownership in the past year. I ordered breakfast, along with the rest of our group. My eggs were cool and the hash browns were burnt. Someone else ordered the chorizo with eggs and said their meal was good. The server we had, was sure trying to give good service, but I think because she was nervous, it didn't always work out that way. I have to compliment her though, because she did try! To sum it up. The food is kind of hit and miss now, but for the price of the special's it's still worth a visit.

Wassail Fest, that is what brought us to town. Two picky mid-age females. At 6p place was not to busy, waitres was prompt and food was okay. I had fried perch, mashed potatoes, slaw and my girl had tilapia, baked potato and salad, which was about 10-12 dollars each. I saw other guests got some fancy sandwich kabobs. There were many families with kids and it seems like place is popular with locals and visitors. There is also a bar on a side. Liked, will recomend and will probubly stop by again.

I truly loved this place. I forget my servers name she was very friendly and we had a nice conversation. Rustic small town diner vibes. Food was wonderful, came quick. I love the atmosphere it's a very comfortable place to dine and enjoy some wonderful dishes

My husband and I stopped there this past Sunday, August 13, 2017 10:30 a.m. It was not busy at all; 4-5 other tables seated. This is the worse food and service we have had in quite some time- After bringing us first cup of coffee, the waitress never stopped back to offer any refills. Our breakfasts finally came-Stone Cold & burnt!! (Burnt bacon, brownish dried out scrambled eggs-and no toast-we had smelled burnt toast wafting in the air right before she fetched our order), Waitress said: " Your toast is on its way" when she brought the order. Prior to ever checking on our order our waitress kept busy cleaning and setting up booths and tables while another wait person (who might be an owner or manager?) watched her from a booth-this woman only got uo to take people's money at the register. When we told our waitress that this food was Stone cold & burnt she, without a word, wisked the plates away. After sitting a minute or two longer, my usually always cheerful, calm husband decided we had had enough of this place. When we got up to pay for the coffee and leave, the woman (owner/manager?)- who sat watching all of this transpire, jumped up and quickly made her way to the register. My hubby told her we were only going to pay for the coffees and he could see no reason to ever return- She replied, "That's OK- We have plenty of...

Wife and I went in for breakfast and was seated and given coffee and told our waitress would be right with us. That was the end of our interaction with staff as we drank our coffee, was not given refills as a waitress looked at us three times and walked away each time. Four people there, two of which were standing in the back doing nothing. A couple of other parties came in, were given coffee and that same waitress that looked at us 3 times and never came to our table took their orders, completely ignoring the fact we were sitting there with empty coffee cups. We left money for the coffee and started walking out when one of the two zombies in the back suddenly jumped into action, thinking we were skipping out on two cups of coffee. There are other places to eat that will have better service.

Can't comment on the food since we never even had our orders taken.

P.S. there is another comment from an African American commentor that suggested that was the reason they received the same treatment. I'm leaning towards that opinion since I'm not...

Owner always on premises prices extremely high for a Greek diner and don’t ask for a side of onions, pickles, or dressing subject to a fee of $1.25. It is note worthy to point out that your to-go food order is kept by the register free table by register, out in public sitting Area on a unused dining table, the owner’s wife a nasty women ..when I complained about continued COLD to-go order and suggested to using under heat lamp.. (Although worker would have to walk the length of restaurant to pickup order) I was told “that there are other places to take my business!!” Maybe it was a bad day for business owner as we all have days, but I was honestly using carry out quite often and always receiving cold and I presentable food. Observing the 10-15 minutes I’m told that order would be ready I am up at restaurant in the time frame, and pay at register and my order has been sitting on vacant dining table with the front door only steps away blowing cold air in this original 1800’s brick...
