G Vibez — Restaurant in Bloom Township

i came to celebrate my mother's birthday with a group of 13, all women.

we gracefully dismissed ourselves due to the owner being strangely confrontational with I, my mother and her guests because we requested may have requested one too many songs at the end of our PAID event......

we were the ONLY guests in the vicinity .. excluding 4 guests .. also women… so i can only assume with such a long, uneventful workday any chance of leaving a good first impression and building community rapport and overall professionalism had long left the building prior to our arrival....

and it showed!!!

whatever you do , save your time and money!!! The owner was giving woman hater like super WEIRDDD was very rude and oddly...Rude and unprofessional jokes and treatment and ultimately disrespectful… way to go weirdo…

At some point I jokingly said “it’s not about you”…. In reference to the owner being difficult when we selecting the last song … he got upset and repeated said “OH IT IS ABOUT ME and refused to play any more music….. HUH????

Outside of THAT hard left… we really tried our best to give this place chance after chance to recover, even with excusing the tacky service

horrible customer service!!! horrible hospitality!!!! no glass plates or silverware!!! BROUGHT US TINY LITTLE HOTDOG HOLDERS to share the APPETIZERS…. (Where were we … BDUBS?)

our waitress was weird … tried to TELL us the menu… Would not give us ANY menus after asking 4x!!!! They finally got us some…. Weird

extremely uncomfortable seating!!!! A real Cute Seat and SIDETABLE setting

Also the owner name is BILAL .. LOUD.. whatever

willl neverrrrrrrrr give this place the opportunity, let alone any hard earned money just to ruin any night that’s supposed to be a great, memorable night for friends and family

SMH... it's really disheartening to see local black businesses treat the locals and their OWN community-supporters horribly... -7/10

My experience at G Vibez in Lynwood was extremely disappointing and dissatisfying. If I could give 0 stars I would. The level of unprofessionalism that was displayed is down right shameful. First of all, you can't operate a restaurant properly if half of the menu items are unavailable to the patrons. I can sympathize with running out of a few things but half of the entire menu? That speaks volumes about how this restaurant is being ran. Food was not prepared properly and the wait times for anything were ridiculous. There was also a kid's party being celebrated in a bar! This is an adults only setting with alcohol and to allow minors to be present is extremely tasteless and unsafe. An establishment should not allow such recklessness. If you want to express your grievances be prepared to be met with opposition and attitude. The owner was so careless, nonchalant, and had many snarky remarks. He did not make sure any of our needs were met or even try to correct any of this establishment many missteps. An establishment of this caliber should be able to provide bare minimum service at the least and even that seemed impossible. If you're looking for a good dining experience, nice atmosphere, and caring staff then this is not the place for you. This place has none of those qualities. Would not...

I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all. For starters they are apparently extremely understaffed. I saw 1 server the entire time I was there. It took what felt like forever for us to even get menus and place orders. Half of the menu was unavailable and the items that were available still barely came out. The chicken tasted like fish, so I’m sure they are using the same grease, which can potentially be very dangerous. The staff was very unprofessional and obviously weren’t properly trained the to work in the service industry. I tried to give grace, but at what point will there be accountability? There were no accommodations made for the lack of menu items, slow and unreliable service or rudeness. To top it off, there was a kids party happening in this bar. This is a bar! It’s an adult setting, with adult music and alcoholic beverages. If the idea was to be available for kids parties, then maybe it’ll be best to do that on a day that isn’t open to the general public hoping to have an adult bar experience. I wouldn’t know how good the food is, because my food never came out. I did tastes my friend’s chicken and it tasted just like fish. I hope that this place makes the necessary changes soon.
