I really hate leave this review because I’m all for supporting black owned businesses but my experience while attending an event was horrible. I’ll start by saying the decor for the party was extremely beautiful I’m an event planner myself and they did a wonderful job with the decorations. But when it came to the food and staff 0/10. the staff was very unwelcoming a young man at my table asked for salt and pepper and the attitude the older lady had was horrible. She then can out table and took away our water and brought back something that looked like juice but taste like plane water the grits was white instant grits and they had frozen Lego waffles that looked microwaved the chicken strips and shrimp was overcooked and hard to chew the best thing was the salad which it looked like the salad I frequently purchases from Aldi and the meatballs were tough to chew I didn’t even attempt to eat any of the bacon or ham. Now when it comes to the bar the young lady was apparently making up her own prices my husband went to get us drinks and the total was $28 when we were told mix drinks was supposed to be $10 but she charged extra to add lemonade later on that night my husband went to get another drink and told the young lady no tip because he had been tipping her all threw out the party and she proceeded to add one anyway another guest gave her $50 and only received $15 back from one drink and another guest purchased a $2 bottle of water gave the young lady a $20 and had to ask for her change because the young lady assumed she can keep the change for a tip she also charged another young lady $80 for a double shot and when she informed her that was not the correct price and that she was a bartender herself and showed her how to use the system she had to refund her money. Attended an event yesterday at this establishment and I was highly disappointed. The decorations for the event were extremely beautiful, as well as the event space. The problems came in with the food, staff, and service. The food was brunch style which consisted of Lego Waffles which were over cooked, shrimp which was over cooked and tasteless, instant grits which had no taste, sausage, meatballs, bacon, chicken tenders which were tasteless and over cooked as well, and salad which was store bought from ALDIs. They also served hors d’oeuvres while we were eating and it’s normally before during cocktail hour. You can tell the food was rushed and no thought was put into it. When a gentleman at the table asked the older server for salt and pepper her attitude was distasteful. We also had to continue to ask for water for the table and at one point it was taken off the table and replaced with a red watered down drink. The bar was also a problem. Pricing was all over the place. We were getting charged for putting juice in our mixed drinks! Later in the evening I purchased a $3 bottle of water from the young lady bartender and she was given $20 in which I had to tell her I wanted my change! Other party goers also had the same problem out of this young lady when it came to overcharging and adding tips to their bill without their consent. Also, the establishments air conditioner went out which made it very hard to enjoy yourself. It felt better outside which is where I found the majority of the party goers. The staff was not friendly and welcoming. And in turn this made me fell out of place and unwelcome. I would not recommend this establishment when it comes to having an event. First time at this black owned establishment was amazing, she offers zodiac parties and I had my party here in December of 2024. From the parking, to the decor, food, drinks, cleanliness of the establishment and the staff was welcoming and professional. Everything was A1. Now I’m hooked on this place. If you’re looking for somewhere to have a good time, Events By Tiffany is the place to be. Comedy shows with some of your favorite celebrity comedians and Family Feud game night. You could even book the venue for a reception, baby shower, repast etc. This past Friday my family and I attended the comedy show for my grandmother’s 73rd birthday and she as well as her sisters enjoyed this establishment.
