Main Street Cafe — Restaurant in Bloomer

We tried the restaurant one more time and the food was great, but the waitress was terrible rude, slow, and not helpful.

I said I wanted to buy a pie to take home, the waitress asked what type, when I said Blackberry, she said 'it's not the right time of year turned and walked away not bothering to offer a list of available types of pies. The pies have always been great, but if you can't buy one it really doesn't matter does it?

Don't plan on going back.

REUBEN $9.99 Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and corned beef on rye. Don’t order this!!!!!

I ordered the Rueben for $9.99. I was with a group of between 15 - and 20 business professionals. And after everyone had their food, I asked where my Rueben was three separate times; the waitress kept saying I will be right out with it. Finally, with people already leaving, she brought out some limp wheat bread with a tiny bit of oil-drenched sauerkraut, meat that possible might have been corned beef, and no Swiss cheese. The wheat bread was not toasted. The French fries were ice cold and looked like they were off plates that others had left after finishing their meals. I didn’t want to cause a scene as I was with a group of people.

So, when the waitress handed me the bill without offering a discount. I approached her separately and said I thought, at a minimum, I should get a 50% discount. She came back with my change and said she had discounted only the sandwich by 50%. I wasn't happy but didn't want to cause a not seen the sandwich and because everyone else’s food looked great didn’t think snooty it as almost everyone had left the meeting by than. When I got in the car my husband said he was starving and opened the box to see this Tasteless and...

I have eaten here 5 times in the last 3 months, most recently today for breakfast. Service by waitresses is consistently poor, maybe even terrible.

Today we waited 15 minutes for coffee (I had to go find the waitress and ask) later when we ran out we sat there for 5 minutes. 5 minutes later she took or order and the people's order she was taking when we sat do got there food. The bacon was fatty, little or no meat. I paid 45 cents for rye toast, but it should have been called "over buttered hot bread" as it was not toasted. (My wife's was the same.)

Our waitress also had a table 10 feet away from ours and they must have been family or something because they got better service than we did. She would be over at their table, but not once did she stop at ours and ask if we needed anything or how our food was after we got it.

I'm disappointed - Main Street Cafe does not deserve the patronage they get, I get better service from Taco John's and McDonald's!

So as you can guess I will never again visit the Main...

Is it possible to put no stars like seriously we go so much attitude and disrespect all because we didnt tip and the waitress was slamming our food on the table and she was so unprofessional half the time all we get is appetizers because we are not rich but we enjoy the appetizers then she literally made a scene and said she hates serving us because we dont tip but no matter what when we go into main street she has a very ugly attityde also she said "i only make $3.15 and hour so you need to tip it would help" honestly its not right to beg and try to force someone to leave you a tip I want to talk to the owner of the place but apparently nobody ever can i literally hated the experience and the serivice i recieved so if you go to main street and have Rachel N.
