We chose this restaurant for my birthday and were very disappointed. The restaurants floor was quite dirty, our tray with silverware was dirty, it had sauce on it. We asked for a new one, only to receive a slightly less dirty one.. after asking for that one to be replaced as well, we just received no silverware or napkins at all. NONE. I ate the cold wings with my fingers, thank god there were wipes at the table... It took at least 30 mins before anyone came to ask us for drinks. One drink was a margarita which took almost an hour to receive. No other beverage was offered in the mean time, not even water! When we asked if I could have a water while I waited for the margarita all of a sudden my drink was ready. The margarita was watered down, and had no salt on the rim like requested. Also no straws were given for the drinks. But the two sodas for my husband and friend had straws. We waited ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES for our food. But we didn’t receive the food until my husband said he just wanted the check so we could leave. Because at this point we had been there for almost 2 hours and it was after 8pm, we all had to work in the morning and was not looking to be out this late since we got there at 6pm.. as soon as he said that, the food was ready and she brought it. It was not hot, or fresh at all. The sauce on the wings had dried! We asked for the check and was offered a refund, but instead the manager offered fresh food although we could not wait for replacement food, as we were wanting to just leave. The new food was ready in less than 5 minutes and was not entirely correct. This is our second bad experience here and we will not be coming back. I had a very sad birthday experience today. I already filled out a...
Read moreA few weeks ago I took my in-laws here to celebrate my last month of my pregnancy. I have a soy allergy and told the waitress. I ordered my food and made sure the sauce I was using was soy free. When the food came out they put the wrong sauce on it. I sent it back, then when they brought out the remake it had teriyaki on it. I tried telling the waitress that it was not the bbq sauce that I chose. She proceeded to gaslight me and say that it was the bbq sauce and she watched the cook put it on because she took allergies seriously. I figured maybe they changed ingredients in the bbq and took a bite of it. Within a few minutes I started to feel ill. When she came back I told her that it had to be incorrect because I wasn’t feeling good. I had her take the food back and got a refund. When she came back she admitted that it was teriyaki on my food and that someone must have switched the tops on the bottles. There wasn’t much of an apology. At the time I went to eat there were not many people there customer wise. There were maybe 5-7 tables in total at the time. Some had food others came in after us. We also waited longer than the tables who came after us for our food and everything came out cold even my remake. Got refills once after waiting 15 mins just for our original drinks to come. Once she put our food and drinks on the table it would take a long time before we would see her again. I wasn’t too upset about her not being around to much since I was enjoying my time with my in-laws, but the gas lighting on my food and the long wait on the food was what got to me. Thankfully my baby and me are okay but it took a bit for my...
Read moreWalked in at 7:35pm and the cleaning lights were on throughout the dining and bar area. I figured that might be temporary because of some briefly scheduled cleaning routine that would soon be over, but the cleaning lights remained on throughout the hour plus visit. The largest TV in my viewing lane was changed to "BIG Bang Theory" as soon as I sat down. It's not like a game had just ended on TBS either. I understand that sometimes a game ends and a non-sports show comes on, but this was not the case. I saw the menu guide come up, the operator cycled through pages and landed on "Big Bang Theory" and selected that show. Meanwhile on a tiny TV at the bar I saw a Blackhawks game. Chicago sports in Illinois should be a priority at BWW .. a soccer game replayed from Venezuela should be a priority over "BIG Bang Theory." I used points from my BWW app to buy an appetizer .. my waitress saw me place the points towards the appetizer on the app. Later, when the bill arrived, the appetizer was billed out despite my rewards points being gone from my points total. She said nothing could be done because the app is unreliable. I asked if she could get a Manager's approval since she saw the points leave my account. She denied asking for help saying nothing could be done, and my only option would be to call some number online and ask for my points back. I feel bad for this waitress who was too afraid to ask for help and was given a phony line by some semblance of management. She was poorly trained at BWW and perhaps ... prior to employment, lacked training in common sense or empathy.
Disappointed...
