I've ordered from them 3x now. Every single time it is PERFECT. We get poke bowls every time. You might think it's a bit pricey until you see the sheer mass of the portions they give you. Plus, they certainly don't skimp out on toppings and sauces. I'm a big girl, and I eat a lot, and I can NEVER finish my bowl in one sitting.
Portion and price point aside, the flavor of the food is just so good. Everything is so fresh, well cooked, and flavorful. I like that their boba isn't just corn syrup in milk. My strawberry milk tea actually tastes like all 3 of those ingredients, and not just like strawberry milk. And you can make it sweeter if you want. I personally like that it's not super sweet, but it's nice that they let you decide how sweet you want it.
The only thing flavor wise is that for us, 2/3 of the times we've ordered, the miso soup has been pretty bland. But it was still full of lots of seaweed and tofu. It's not like they just gave us water with nothing it in. Which I really appreciated. I feel like usually when I get miso there's like 2 small tofu cubes and 1 piece of kelp. This actually felt like soup each time. And, lastly, tbh, how am I gonna complain about free soup? It was FREE.
Service is also amazing. One time we ordered our usual bowls and they wrote us a sticky note saying that they were out of avocado. So what did they do? They gave us a massive portion of extra seaweed salad and crab salad (stuff we ordered already). Like, they didn't have to do that. Or give that much. And it's so sweet of them. Like what they gave us surely was worth more than what the normal serving of the avocado would have been. I was just touched by that.
Another thing about that incident--we ordered a bit closer to close time than we realized. We were worried that the quality of our food was going to be less than usual because that's how it is: order close to close, you get the scraps. But no, it was still bussin' as usual. Perfectly good, wonderful quality.
These people work hard, and it shows. This is one of my favorite places in town. And, to be honest, it's really nice to have a place in town to get food delivered to me that isn't heavy or greasy that isn't a sandwich place. I'm tired of eating burgers, sandwiches, and pasta all the time. It's just so nice to have something refreshing and easier to make healthy if you so chose. You can even replace the rice in your bowls with lettuce or brown rice.
PRO TIP: Order off of their website. It's cheaper there and easier to customize.
Be kind to these people. They work hard and clearly care about their products.

Read moreOrdered bbq pork (char-siu) banh mi. The slices of pork were bland and deli thin while the daikon-carrot slaw slices were comparable to small french fries. It was like the proportions of individual ingredients were deliberately flip-flopped to account for the skimpy amount of protein. Char-siu should generally be 1/8" to 1/4" thick and daikon slaw should obviously be very thin and heavily flavored with lime juice and rice vinegar. The banh mi here missed both of these marks. It was decorated with just straight up mayonnaise as well. The baguette these ingredients were served on was crunchy, overbaked, and decidedly not soft and flaky like one would find on a good banh mi. 2/5
Girlfriend ordered the tofu teriyaki bowl. Tofu was mushy and the rice was slightly overcooked and extra starchy, likely from not being properly rinsed before cooking. Her bowl also came with miso soup that was very heavy on the dashi and very low on the miso/earthy undertones. Miso soup is supposed to be delicate and clear where this bowl was very fishy and weirdly oversalted. 2/5 for both.
We also ordered an order of crab rangoon and were left equally disappointed. For starters, 5 smaller than average crab rangoon for $10 is already a bummer. They also had the mouthfeel of having been baked instead of deep fried which is sacrilege in my opinion. The filling, at least, was pretty tasty. 3/5
It's easy to be a critic when my baseline for foods like this have been set by some amazing restaurants in bigger cities but i digress. 2/5. Overpriced and extremely average. Good atmosphere and dining room layout won't make up for the low quality food. Will not...
Read moreI will say I hands down will forever recommend the smoothies!!!! They keep me coming back time and time again they are so good. As for the food I've recommended certain things like the chicken egg rolls but so fair things that have sounded good I've either tried or heard ppl who go for the smoothies try and they did not like them. A lady recently said she tried the chicken teriyaki and was not a fan which was disappointed because that was on my list to try however I was even more disappointed by the crab ragoon they are not like the typical ones at the Chinese restaurants. However the lady did suggest the edumame which I have no idea what that is as I have never had it but open to it haven't gotten a chance yet. Now on to the smoothies favorites so far have to be (strawberry/mango, blueberry ice cream, passionfruit, strawberry/kiwi and lastly banana/strawberry) in that order. The taste of the smoothies has opened me up to trying these different variations and let me tell you I am a stickler to sticking to what I like. Overall the service can be a little spotty here and there but they are always friendly and nice. Prices aren't too bad I believe I usually pay about 7 for a large smoothie and they have rewards so at times I've gotten like 3 off of my smoothies. It's def a regular place for...
