It was a busy Saturday afternoon when little six-year-old Lucy found herself lost in the maze-like McDonald's PlayPlace. She had begged her mother to let her go inside, promising to be careful and stay within eyesight, but as soon as she stepped inside, she was overcome with excitement and ran off in all directions. At first, Lucy was having the time of her life, running up and down the colorful plastic tubes, crawling through tunnels, and sliding down the slides. She was giggling and shrieking with delight, completely absorbed in the sensory overload of the indoor playground. But soon, Lucy realized that she had no idea where she was or how to get back to her mother. She looked around frantically, trying to spot a familiar face or a glimpse of the outside world, but all she could see were the bright yellow and red walls of the PlayPlace, twisting and turning in every direction. Panic set in as Lucy realized she was truly alone, surrounded by a labyrinth of plastic and foam. She began to call out for her mother, her voice echoing off the walls and getting lost in the noise of other children playing. But no one seemed to hear her or notice her distress. As time passed, Lucy grew increasingly scared and disoriented. The PlayPlace seemed to stretch on forever, with no end in sight. She tried retracing her steps, but every turn led her deeper into the maze, and the sound of her own footsteps only added to her anxiety. That's when she heard it: a faint, scraping noise, coming from somewhere deep within the PlayPlace. It was barely audible at first, but as Lucy strained to listen, the sound grew louder and more persistent. At first, Lucy thought it might be another child, lost like her and searching for a way out. But the noise was too mechanical, too deliberate, to be a human sound. It was like the grinding of gears or the whirring of a motor, slow and rhythmic and sinister. Lucy began to back away, her heart pounding in her chest. The noise grew louder, closer, and she could feel a cold sweat breaking out on her skin. She was sure she was about to be attacked by some unknown creature, lurking in the shadows of the PlayPlace. But as the sound grew louder still, Lucy realized with horror that it was coming from above her. Looking up, she saw a tiny window, high up in the ceiling of the PlayPlace, where she could see the faint outline of a figure moving. It was a clown, she realized, dressed in a faded McDonald's uniform and slowly inching his way towards the window. His face was painted with a grotesque smile, his eyes wide and unblinking. Lucy was frozen with fear, unable to move or scream as the clown began to lower himself down towards her, suspended by some unseen mechanism. The clown reached out a gloved hand towards Lucy, its long fingers curling in a gesture that was simultaneously inviting and menacing. Lucy could see the glint of sharp metal in the clown's other hand, something that looked like a knife or a pair of scissors. With a sudden burst of energy, Lucy turned and ran, her feet pounding against the plastic surface of the PlayPlace. The clown followed, his movements slow and calculated, almost taunting her with his leisurely pace. Lucy could hear him behind her, his breath hot on her neck, his fingers brushing against her hair. She could see the faint glow of the window above her, and she knew she had to reach it if she wanted to escape. With a final burst of adrenaline, Lucy launched herself upwards, grasping for the edges of the window and pulling herself through. She tumbled out onto the roof of the...
Read moreMy worst experience at McDonald's ever. My standard for mcdonald's isn't very high, but this experience didn't help. 10/10 wouldn't recommend! We sat waiting in line for at least 30 minutes. With a full size van at max capacity and needed to make several orders. When we eventually arrived at the microphone we asked if we could make multiple orders and they responded that only 2 orders per vehicle was allowed. We were able to consolidate our orders to 4. Even asking them to consider that we were a large vehicle with many people and had been waiting in line for a while, they wouldn't respond and it was just radio silence. So I pulled around to the first window, the kid at the window took my payment for the first two orders without saying a word, handed me the change and the card without saying a word. Didn't give a receipt, because obviously they didn't want my review going to corporate. Pulled to the next window, the manager who was running second booth wouldn't even look at me, much less speak to me. Handed me part of the food we wanted (so we thought), and walked a way while I was trying to talk to her. Come to find out the order they have us wasn't even right... Needless to say we didn't go back around to wait in line for another 30 minutes for inadequate service and food. I don't go to McDonald's often and it'll be even less now. I hope day shift at this location is better, but I'm not going to give it a chance...
Read moreOrdered thru the mobile app and went thru the drive thru to pick it up as I have always done with any McDonald and he said they didn't have my order ,well they took the money off my card. He said he was gonna go get the manager. She rudely came to the window, saying what's going on and I told her I paid for food but he is saying that the food is not here. She went on to say it was a DoorDash and it wasn't. I told her it was through the app and she replied he didn't have my order and it is ordered through the front and I need to come in to pick it up and was closing the window rudely as she was talking which really pissed me off and I don't really get that mad at people so I went in and I told her employees to let her know I am calling Corporate on her and she came up laughing as if it was a joke, saying call Corporate call Corporate because I was rude when in fact I wasn't I was just trying to figure out where my food was that I paid for what was rude about that, she was trying to say that because she was closing the window while I was talking which is inappropriate . She seemed very childish. She should not be a manager at all with this type of attitude very young with no sense, young hispanic girl. This isn't the first time they were rude when we went to this McDonald's. On top of that, I asked for no pickles on my order and there were pickles on it when I got home , guess I was rude with that as...
