Pho126 — Restaurant in Blountville

DO NOT WORK HERE! THIEVES ARE YOUR OWNERS! I quit due to multiple reasons: I was the only server most of the time without any help. They would blame me over small mistakes like if I accidentally spilled a drink or messed up something, they would also blame me for the bug infestation when they leave the garage door in the back open all the time. I was not only a server but I had to clean and be responsible for the phone while the two owners would sit in the back and play games on their phones. They are not good with flexible schedules and they think they can pull you in whenever. The owners would tell me last second when they’re going to be open or closed so most times I’d have to waste a total of 40 minutes in gas. I was forced to serve expired drinks to people and was yelled at for throwing away boba that expired 7 months ago at the time I was working there. I was yelled at constantly in front of customers and was talked bad about behind my back. The owners are friends with really sketchy people as in these people were tweakers and would call the owners by random names. I was given notes by a few of the tweakers about the business raising money over jail bonds. So if you support this business your not supporting a family your supporting possible addicts who are in jail. And I was pushed by an owner in front of one of their tweaker pals over something I forgot to do which was fill the ice, tweaker said “oh that’s how kim just acts”. Well that’s not normal behavior, maybe to a tweaker but it’s not. They are also highly ableist, I’ve seen them mock disabled customers in the back. “Thieves are your owners” “why” you may ask? Because they have accused me of stealing canned drinks before though I paid for them and showed the receipt, accused me of “stealing cups” for whatever reason, wanted to steal a $70 tip a big family gave to me, and it has been a month since I’ve quit and I’ve yet to get my check of $110 they were supposed to give me. Every time I tried to call for it they’ve refused because I only worked 3 days a week and not a full 40 hours which is bull, I have friends that work less than 40 hours and they still get their checks. Please do not support or work for this company, your money isn’t going towards a family to feed. It’s going towards someone’s jail bonds or...

If you like Vietnamese food do not go here. I do not know what in the world happened here, if it used to be good or what. But we went there today, and it was appalling. I can't say it was the worst Vietnamese I've ever had, because simply it was not Vietnamese food. Beyond that the coffee was instant, the Thai tea tasted very bad overly sweet and something was off. The Bahn mi was using old meat, in-edible pink pork with some sweet attempt at covering the bad taste, freezer burn and old age. It should be char grilled pork, it's such a simple thing, a sandwich. If you can't achieve that, please for the Love of Vietnamese food, SHUT IT DOWN. Please cook something else. Another thing the hoisin sauce on the table expired 2 years prior to today! And the siracha was expired, this should have given us an early clue... The chicken in the pad Thai was chewy probably old and microwaved. Honestly this is the only time I have ever, ever sent food back, and felt the necessity to leave early because the food quality was so poor I was genuinely fearful for my family of being made sick. If you see this consider and want to try this restaurant you're warned. I'm sorry it was me who has to bear the truth. Additionally no one was eating in the place and yet we waited over an hour before any entree appear for us to be disgusted by. Truly appalling. I know running a restaurant is very hard business, and the food quality is the most important aspect, I'm just at a loss, I never thought it would come to...

Let’s just say In the past I loved eating the Pho here. Well, a few weeks ago I placed an order and spoke to the lady at the restaurant sounded like the owner and she took my order and she said it has to be cash only and I said oh y’all don’t take card anymore and she says today oh it’s OK if all you have is a card and I said OK I’ll be there at 4 to pick it up. She says OK we’ll have it ready for you so when I get off of work around 3:40 I go to pick up my food, got there right at 4:00. They have a sign on the door that says they are closed and there wasn’t a soul insight. Doors locked and lights off. Like what kind of business are they running there? I mean, how are you Gonna sit there take an order say you’ll have it ready and then when the person ain’t even late to come pick it up they can’t even get their food because you’ve closed.
