Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Bluefield

I had called today to make a cake order I had called a couple times this week to make a order but they said there cake lady was a teacher also so I would have to call back when she was working I wanted to talk to the one who makes the cakes because of family member having (Celiac Disease) and dairy queen is the only place you can get a gluten free cake without making one your self gluten free if you dont get the cookies in the middle so I called today and she was working I had asked for no cookies in the cake but could they put them of the side like in small blizzard cup like the amount that would be on the cake anyways she said no because they could not sale the toppings on side I'm not asking to sale the toppings separately just on the side was told could put them on half of the cake I told her consider (Celiac as a gluten allergy) so cannot be on cake she said if I do that for you I have to for everyone which in my opinion is very rude and unprofessional and if you dont know what gluten can do to someone with celiac google it its no joke called back left my name and number for...

I've been noticing for a while that my change back on orders was not quite right. BUT since this place does not print off a receipt for you I could never be sure as I was usually busy when handing over the money. Today I caught it though. Once again I ordered my usual smal reese cup blizzard with extra reese cup. I pull around and it was 3.70$ for the blizzard. I paid in four $1 bills. She quickly took my money, and handed me change and moved away from the window to go get the blizzard. I look down and the change I received was two nickels. seriously. If I gave her four dollars and the total was 3.70 then she owes me 30¢. Three dimes, a nickel and a quarter IDGAF what kind of change I would have gotten as long as it would have been right. When she came back I was trying to be polite. I asked how much it was again, since I didn't get a reciept. She smirks at me and says "It was $3.70, because you ordered extra reese cup" and did that little have cocked smile. I politely told her that she gave me the wrong change then and she owed me money. I would like to bring to someone higher up at Dairy Queen certain behaviors exhibited by Piper, the young manager at Dairy Queen, 3136 E Cumberland Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701, which may be inadvertently creating an unfavorable work environment for both customers and employees.

Specifically, Piper has been observed rushing customers and demonstrating inadequate communication skills. Additionally, there have been reports of Piper engaging in unhygienic practices, such as picking her nose. Furthermore, Piper’s disrespectful behavior toward employees has contributed to a hostile work environment.

In order to maintain a positive experience for our customers and employees, it is essential that we address these concerns with Piper. Providing her with the necessary training and support will enable her to fulfill her role effectively.
