The good: Great wait staff, attentive and polite and professional. Great atmosphere, very cool decor and nice tables and dinnerware. The bad: Ordered a Delmonico Ribeye special and got prime rib, that had been grilled. Overall flavor and seasoning (of all food) was sub par, more on the bland side. Appetizers are sized for one person and priced for 4. If the steak was actual steak and the portions weren’t boutique it would be 4.5 stars. Very nice for middle of nowhere WV though, just expect more for ~$75 a plate average.

What an incredible experience we had on Valentine's day at The Vault and what a hidden gem we have in our backyard in Bluefield, WV. General Manager Tony runs a meticulous restaurant serving up friendliness, ambiance, service, and fantastic food. Everything we tasted was flawless, but my favorite was the melt in your mouth salmon with bacon and Brussel sprouts paired with a visually stunning crème brulée to top off the evening. I can't wait til my next visit!

Truly excellent meal. Just passing through and stopped in Bluefield for the night. The Vault Downtown restaurant was the most pleasant surprise of the trip. The French onion soup had lots of gruyere cheese and onions. We also loved the trout and crab cakes. Bread and icecream are homemade. There were numerous signatures cocktails and an extensive wine list. Servers were very friendly. We will definitely eat here again next time we pass by the area.

The atmosphere is amazing. It feels like you are dining in a big city somewhere far away, not in southern West Virginia. The staff was super nice and attentive. However the food portions were miniscule and more about "presentation". I left STARVING. I'm not a big gal by any means (about 115 lbs) and I could have eaten 4 of these dinners easy. I ordered an appetizer of shrimp cocktail which had only 3 shrimp and dinner was grilled fish and asparagus. I was served like 5 asparagus spears and a very small peice of fish. The dinners took over an hour to arrive and all were served at different times. It was extremely overpriced for the quality and amount of food you get but the atmosphere is quite a treat. Review 2: I came back a second time and changed from 3 stars to 4. I ordered the salmon and Brussel sprouts with was mid 30s price range and a shrimp cocktail (with still only 3 shrimp for 22 dollars which was pretty ridiculous price wise) but it was delicious!!!! I got a little more portion wise this time and the service was impeccable. And agian the atmosphere is amazing!!!! I didn't leave starving but I made sure to eat something before we...

My husband took me to the Vault to celebrate our 52 anniversary! We were both born and raised here. We left for college and careers. After 50 years away, we have retired and returned HOME! The meal was quite good. The salad delicious and twice as large as expected. The beef prepared exactly as requested. The broccoli was a large serving and steamed perfectly. Plenty of warm bread with oil and seasoning for dipping. The proportions were LARGE! The price fair and appropriate. The service was beyond extraordinary. Everyone was polite, professional, courteous and kind not to forget friendly! My only suggestion is I would like butter for my bread and potatoes... true mountain person! The desert was beautifully presented, but not tasty. I am very glad the Vault is here and offers such incredible service. I will definitely return! The wine offered for anniversary celebration was a very considerate touch! All employees sincerely appreciated and deserve many positive...

My wife and I dined here on St. Patrick's Day 2022 and the food and service was wonderful! We took advantage of the St. Patrick's Day specials being offered. We shared the Buttermilk Fried Calimari as an appetizer and it was delicious and would order again.

I had the special Irish Whiskey Black Angus Ribeye with Truffle Fries and Bacon Brussel Sprouts. My Wife had the Shepard's Pie. Both were exceptionally good! For dessert we shared the Irish Spice Cake and as an additional treat, we tried the Key Lime Pie. This is no ordinary Key Lime Pie, either. It ranks as one of the best we ever had and should be a must try if on the menu!

Special thanks to General Manager Tony Fausto and his staff for treating us so well. We'd be remiss if we didn't also give a shout out to Chef Chris and Sous Chef Ryan and their team for such delicious menu...
