Big Boy's BBQ & Grill — Restaurant in Bluff City

WOW WOW WOW!!!! My handsome boyfriend and I decided to try out big boy's barbecue for dinner on Tuesday night. Let me tell you, we were very IMPRESSED!!! We heard through word-of-mouth that this was a great place to eat. We ordered the chicken wings,sliced brisket, greens, and loaded fries that were topped with pulled pork. They were nice enough to bring us a sample of the beans since I had asked about them, but did not end up ordering them. The sample was delicious, It was like a protein packed baked beans with peppers and hamburger meat. All the proteins were extremely moist, tender and flavor packed! Hands down the best brisket, we've EVER had!!!! 🙌 Personally my favorite part of the meal was the loaded pulled pork fries. The fries were crinkle, cut crispy to perfection, topped with finely diced onions and peppers that were sauteed ( really giving each bite a Great accompaniment of flavor) I'm not sure what kind of cheese was put on there, but it was fabulous (white cheddar maybe), everything was proportionate, no flavor overpowered one another, They all blended beautifully together. The pulled pork itself was hot and juicy I loved the barbecue sauce on top as well. It was semi sweet but savory. I also ordered a side of greens, hear me out.I know a lot of people don't enjoy them.However, this was fantastically prepared Example of southern style Greens with pork fat and just a hint of vinegar. 🔪✨️Our meals were accompanied with cornbread, which was served hot and buttered already.It was a simi sweet cornbread. Yesterday 6/1/24 we setup at the tri-cities flea market. For lunch we decided to try big boys BBQ. Excellent choice and we got way beyond Excellent service. We placed our order online. I had the big boy burger. It was a delicious hamburger piled with pulled pork. They put sautéed onions,green peppers, cheese and big boy sauce. That burger was amazing. Very flavorful. Mouth watering bites. I had a side of cowboy beans. Those are some the best cowboy beans I've had in a great while. There sides aren't small portions I couldn't finish my beans. I'll give his beans an A++... my gf had the 1 meat 2 vegetables she got the Mac n cheese and cowboy beans. I tried the Mac n cheese and it was amazing. Very cheesy and flavorful aswell. The noodles wasn't soggy or mashed it had good texture and the side was a healthy portion also. This place has amazing service and some great down home southern hospitality. They forgot our Mac n cheese and caught it before I did. They called us and said they'd forgot it and delivered it too us. Then a nice lady walked all the way up to our booth and Gave us a healthy portion of there super delicious greens with smoked turkey in them. Wanna talk about some amazing greens you have to try them. Also they Gave us a half dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. This food experience was so good I FORGOT to take pictures. We had the 3 meat sampler platter. WE chose ribs and brisket (you do NOT need teeth - not ONE), gumbo greens (OMG NOLA would be PROUD baby) and the MAC N CHEESE (chef kiss) and to top it off, we got the Strawberry kiwi Big Boy juice SMH LET. ME. TELL. YOU.... We will definitely be back to try everything, no ERRTHANG else on the menu, multiple times! They said they have only been here one year, and he started at his home in his kitchen, and baby based on THIS day, based on THIS FOOD, he ain't going back home to work outta that kitchen. WHOO I am FULL to CAPACITY, about to order greens to go and I'm about to go home and take a NAP. FOOD COMA, reservation for two, please!
