I have mixed feelings about the place, Arrived about 7.45pm on Saturday, it was somewhat busy but the waitress showed up immediately to give us the menus. We needed a couple of minutes to read through them (our fist time there), and asked her to come back in few. In the meantime, a large group arrived and from that point on, it felt as if we were downgraded on the priority list;) she took their order, we waived ready to give her ours, she said she would be back. The repetitive cycle of her coming in and out bringing stuff for the group and us hoping to at least get our drink orders in continued for about 20mins. We just sat there waiting. Yes we could have left, but the reviews about food quality brought us there in the first place, so we really wanted to try it! Finally, my husband went in and found a different waitress. She was awesome, took our order, answered all the questions and brought our drinks out fast. Now, onto the food. He ordered a beef burrito and it was so so. Served with nothing but beef and guacamole (the waitress did not mention we need to order anything else separately) it was just basic. No rice, no pico , no sour cream. Flavor was still great, but meat was very fatty. Can’t fault them for it though, should have asked few more questions when ordering. I ordered chicken chimichanga- and it was fantastic. Absolutely delicious. Prices seemed reasonable. Would we return? Possibly, just of out curiosity and because my...

My family & I were out in Blythe on vacation and chose this place due to its reviews to have dinner at. So we called in advance to make sure they could accommodate our party of 13, which we were told yes and no reservations were needed but after arriving this one hostess was rude and off the back had a look as though she didn't want to serve us. She was recommending us to another resturant which I replied with, "but we want to eat at your restaurant". She than began telling us that the capacity for people in the restaurant as though we were too many. There was one large table open with another next to it open (not in use) and a couple in another table that said they were about to leave in less than 5 minutes. Without trying to help us out she than started to give one of the open tables to a couple that came in after my party, that's when another waitress said, "they were here first", this hostess replied with oh well they didnt sign in which we were never told to sign in, my cousin who walked in before me was told to take a seat were it was open. We decided to leave and as we walked out we had another employee trying to work with us to stay but after the rudeness we recieved by this one hostess we left and ate at La Paloma Mexican Food which was actually delicious and very...

Our experience at Garcia’s was nothing short of a disaster. When trying for 10 minutes to order takeout over the phone, it was never answered and we were forced to attempt (and fail) to order at a table. While we were dining, the phone rang constantly for over an hour, with no one bothering to answer it—a clear sign of disorganization.

When we sat down, it took 20 minutes just to get chips and salsa, and we didn’t receive any water until long after we had finished eating the chips. To make matters worse, several tables that were seated well after us received their food while we were still waiting for ours. After an extended wait, we finally decided to leave, realizing our meals weren’t likely to arrive anytime soon.

It wasn’t just our table that faced these issues. Around us, diners were served sporadically, with one person getting their dish while the rest of their party sat waiting until that person was nearly done eating. The lack of organization and attentiveness was beyond frustrating.

Garcia’s was a complete letdown. The chaotic and inattentive service overshadowed everything else, making it impossible to enjoy the meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—don’t waste your time...

Busy but worth the wait: we had to wait over an hour for an inside table on a Thursday night but they do give you a pager so you can wait in your warm car on a chilly winter evening Once we were seated we were taken care of quickly. Our orders were placed right away, our drinks delivered promptly and our food followed in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious! The server gave just the right amount of attention. It has that local small town informality with people standing around outside the patio smoking, and the inside seating is quite loud. The food was really good, though, so I will be back! I had a shrimp taco that was AMAZING and a chicken enchilada that was a little on the dry side but the chicken was good quality so I'm not complaining. The rice and beans were just right.

Very busy place. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated then about 10 more to have our order taken. The servers and staff all very nice and cheerful. The food looked good but he quality of the meat in the carne asada burrito was very grizzly and fatty. I should have gotten the chicken. The while relleno was not good either. It was charred, burnt and inedible. The beef taco also very grizzly meat... The drinks were good, maragita and pina colada. Not sure if they were just too busy to put out a good meal? The quality of the meats was lacking for us. Sorry, we really wanted to like it.

Stopped at Garcia’s after an ‘extensive’ search for a place to eat in Blythe, CA. While most may not know of the importance of Blythe or its geography, it is halfway between Phoenix and Palm Springs, CA. Service was good, salsa hot (maybe a bit too hot for my taste) and food tasty. Smallish place, with outdoor seating and cold beer. Based on a previous reviewer recommendation I ordered a Colorado Burrito (sorry, no picture). Omg. It is huge. Service for 6 please. It actually came with a carne asada taco, like I needed more food. All was very good. Definitely worth the stop!
