When researching places to eat this place was promising! After driving 7 hours we stopped in Blytheville for rest and a good meal. The place is hard to find..not marked very well but there were a lot of cars in a parking lot. The atmosphere was very promising. We knew they were busy and when entering stated they would have a wait on food. Totally fine, as it was busy…went to the bar and got our first drink..after that..you can forget it! The bartenders literally ignored you, walked right by you..and only served the locals. Still thought we could get an order in…then stated they only serve a portion of the menu..why not have a menu of what you actually serve??? Still..we thought okay..this will be worth the wait…again waited for a drink…ignored the whole time…3 others served before us. Again..stated it was going to be awhile before we could even order food!!! Order a second drink..got bill because after 45 minutes we are hungry and ready to leave..got the bill and it was outrageous! We are not in a metropolis!!! Go for atmosphere...

So I had a little trouble finding this gem but it was well worth it. This is my first time coming here but it will not be my last. Absolutely loved my meal. I had the ribeye with salad and potato and toast. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a very delicious flavor. I'm always nervous about eating steaks out because I'm very picky about my steak. Super tender. Super juicy. I will get another one before I leave town.

Let's not forget about the staff. Just love Mrs. Barbara , she is the owner and the cook. Wonderful lady. And her staff of girls that work for her , very sweet. I must admit I might have a crush on McKenzie. Stacy and Tracy were both very sweet.

There is no reason not to look McAdoo's up while in town. I've ate most places here the two weeks I've been here. Wish I would have found...

Not sure if this place has been taken over by new management, but I did notice if you look at the most recent reviews they are mostly not good. The meal started by them telling me they were out of the 6+ appetizers that they had on the menu. Descent service until it go busy, then I got ignored at the bar for locals. Steak was fatty and overcooked. I got the bill and it was a non-itemized receipt. Later when I thought about how much it was, I called back. Found out the prices of the steaks went up that day but they didn't tell me or put it on the receipt. Also found out they charged a $ 3 credit card fee. I was then told if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else. Definitely a "hole in the wall" that caters to locals. Probably the worst customer service I have ever...

My first visit to this place was kinda shocking. Met up with some of the guys from work for food and drinks. Cutting up and unwinding and I guess the bartender did not like my humor. But the burger was worth enduring her unsettling attitude towards me. The guys said the lady that owns the place wanted me to come back and this time I had the steak... Omg let me just tell ya, this huge hunk of tasty cow parts was cooked to perfection and oh some yum.

Blytheville’s “best kept secret” for a quality, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked ribeye steak served by friendly and attentive staff. Miss Elaine et al will make you feel right at home. Excellent spot for a cold beer, burger + fries, too. Recommend early arrival if you’re dining in. Limited holiday menu (no appetizers). A little dark inside, but the clientele are respectable local folk and, well, it’s a bar!
