I'm from San Antonio where most Mexican food is texmex style. I got the hankering for some good enchiladas, and this place came thru. I was also pleasantly impressed with their tamales. The staff was friendly and the food came out really fast . Being from the south it was also salsa heaven. I needed that spicy kick I was craving and they hit the spot.

We came in a half hour before they closed but we were welcomed and seated. The staff was very kind and had plenty of jokes to tell. The food was brought quickly and it was hot and fresh. I recommend the chicken tortilla soup, the birra anything, and shrimp tacos. Don't miss the sopapillas with honey and whipped cream.

Enjoyed it a lot. Ended up sitting there for hours & hours visiting with friends then long after our meal ordered some mixed drinks. They never acted like we were overstaying.

Visited on December 26, 2020. The team had zero protocols in place to protect it’s patrons from COVID-19. The staff was not wearing gloves neither were they using their masks correctly. The restaurant lacked cleanliness. The waiting area was overflowing with people (no social distancing) waiting to be seated from a receptionist who lacked the necessary communication skills to effectively do her job. The food was ok. To top it off, I’m dealing with a acute form of food poisoning from the food. Thanks...

The food was good and there was a buffet as well. We didn't eat from the buffet, but others did, so it couldn't have been too bad. The manager did an awesome job of attending to all of his guests and going by each table to check on them. The only issue is that the place needs a little updating, and certain things like the plates could be replaced due to chipping. Also, it took forever for us to get our ticket when it was time to go, which is frustrating. We enjoy it every time we go, though, and...

I taught at BMS and we went to lunch here 4 times or so during the school year. I was never impressed. Food was never great(not bad but eh)and service was always lacking. Someone in our party always had cold food and a wrong order. The men's restroom in incredibly tiny too. If you are more than 5 feet tall and a foot wide be prepared to feel cramped. Just save the trouble and go to Las Barisas or Perkins. Those are the only good places...
