Generous, friendly service. Food that just won't quit at prices that make it worth buying seconds. Small cozy space inside with a drive thru window outside.

Grew up in the south, and this is the best fried catfish I've come across. Crispy, crunchy cornmeal coating with tender, flaky catfish. More importantly, the catfish wasn't slimy or gooey anywhere.

Cabbage side was so good I drank the juice. I didn't know cabbage could have that much flavor.

Mac'n'cheese side was creamy and gooey but the noodles weren't mushy. It's hard to hit the middle ground between al dente and overcooked, but they've done it with precision.

Spaghetti side was slightly sweet, meaty, and delicious. Equal parts sauce, noodle, and meat, this dish filled me with pleasant nostalgia.

Overall: Salt=flavor and they toe the line on oversalting without crossing it. I would GLADLY make the 2 hour detour off my route if it meant I'd get to have the same experience again. Absolutely divine and can't wait to...

Exactly what you're looking for if you're searching for authentic, down home Southern BBQ. Got the Rib plate with greens and Mac and cheese, added some of the brisket and a side of cornbread. Fellow traveler got the BBQ sandwich plate with slaw on top with fried okra and cabbage. Classic white bread slice is

Greens and cabbage were excellent and vinegar-y, what we were looking for. Cornbread was moist and very good as well.

Brisket, rib tips, and chopped pork were excellently smoked and seasoned. Amazing 😍 The sauce given was a bit sweet for me, but if that's your thing, they got it.

Mac and Cheese was a bit bland but not bad at all. I'd try the baked beans instead

Finally the cobblers caught my eye on the way out and took them to go. Very good, even cold.

All told, great trip and worth the drive. Friendly staff and old school atmosphere. 4.6 out...

A good friend and I were looking for a hidden gem in dining while passing through Arkansas and that's when we stumbled upon Yank's. The building didn't look like much but I could tell from the pleasnt aromas coming from it we would not be disappointed. The ribs were excellent and the fries had a very good seasoning. It even tasted to me like the lemonade was fresh squeezed. I thought the prices were beyond fair for the portion size. Keep in mind that it is drive through only but there is a nice quiet park a few stop lights east with nice scenery and picnic tables. If you ever find yourself in Blytheville Arkansas please pass up the big fast food chains and venture a little fuethure into town and find Yank's! This is definitely one of those situations where you can't judge a book...

Incredibly Delicious Barbecue and fries combo!! Going up Interstate 55 and approaching Blytheville. Start checking out the reviews for some hidden gem ...... we found it in YANK'S FAMOUS BARBEQUE!!! Reminded me of the tender slow cooked shoulder my momma used to cook all day, then dowse generously with her homemade sauce. Topped with slaw on a whopper of a soft bun. Pure barbeque childhood memories, when pigs still had flavor. Then a side of crisp crinkle cut fries with just the right amount of kick added. Thanks YANK for a delicious lunch! I'll be back!
