Let me tell you of my experience with this terrible company.
Mistake #1- They sell you a plan for the month, say Mon-Fri 2 meals per day where you get to chose the meals. They don't tell you that the meals are very limited and if you want more options you have to pay extra for them.
Mistake #2- They deliver the meals the night before on Sundays from Midnight to 6AM and Tuesdays from Midnight to 6PM. Here's where the problem is: the food is left at your front door in a bag with 2 small cool packs. Most of the time these packs are watery when you open the door at 7 or 8AM and the food is room temperature. THE AMOUNT OF BACTERIA THAT GROWS BETWEEN 1AM AND 7AM WHILE THE FOOD SITS OUTSIDE CAN CAUSE FOOD POISONING. If you ever google bacteria growth in food, you will know what I mean. But no matter how many times I reported this and requested more icepacks the company did nothing.
Mistake#3- I do not eat red meat, and so I would never order it. However it happened several times that my meals where mixed up and I received steak, chicken, ribs. Now when I call to report this and request a refund at least, they just apologized and did nothing about it.
Mistake #4- I went on vacation for 1 week and requested a freeze over my account. They processed it and told me that I would have to manually pick my meals to restart my service. What is my surprise that they restarted the service automatically, debited the charges, and then did not deliver the meals! I called for them to reimburse me since I was going out of town anyways that week and wouldn't be able to eat any meals. WELL THEY NOT ONLY DIDN'T REIMBURSE ME, THEY CHARGED ME THE NEXT WEEK TOO! incredible! Now that I got serious and did not stop calling until I got to the manager, the manager herself said that it's their policy to automatically start the plans, and that she could not reimburse me the first week. I MEAN I JUST PAID FOR A WEEK OF FOOD AND DIDN'T EVEN GET TO EAT THE FOOD.
Please beware of this company, it's all nice and dandy at the beginning but then you start to really experience what the 2 star reviews say. There are so many other great meal delivery companies out there that you can pick who are trustworthy, reliable, understanding, fast, safe and considerate with their clients.
And I note, upper management DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE COMPANY IMAGE or THESE REVIEWS, otherwise they wouldn't leave a...
Read moreThis is the worst service i have ever gotten. I will list all of my issues numbered so you know actually how bad it is. 1.I'm allergic to cinnamon, cucumbers and spicy food. I have listed them in the allergy list, i have called about it to make a special note and i still keep getting foods with those ingredients, making me waste whole meals because i don't want to have an allergic reaction. 2.One time they were unable to deliver my meals, after i called the following morning because i didn't see them they told me they'd reschedule the delivery for later in the day. The next day i called again and they told me that re delivery was unavailable in my area and to suck it up ("it's not available in your area and there is nothing we can do about it"), after i asked for a refund or anything they said they'd give me credit and never did. 2 months after and they still haven't. 3.The customer service is absolutely the worst. Not only are they rude (not all of them, but in my experience about 8/10 of the people i've talked to have been rude), they don't look for solutions they simply tell you sorry, can't do it, so suck it up (reference #2). When I moved i had to change my address, so I called them on tuesday (having moved on monday) to ask my meals to be delivered to my new place, they told me that wasn't possible until the upcoming monday (they deliver on wednesdays and sundays), i notified them with over 36 hours anticipation, so i'm losing my meals. 4.The food is not bad, it's well done and nicely seasoned most of the time, but at least 4 times have i gotten sick because of the chicken or meat not being cooked thoroughly. 5.I tried canceling my subscription and they told me that they would cancel it but would still charge me for the following 2 weeks (since i pay bi-weekly) without receiving my meals, so i'm stuck with them until i can afford that. I would not suggest this service, their competitors although more expensive, are...
Read moreI can't blame myself enough for not reading these reviews before I made the mistake of signing up with FMP. This company has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I was receiving meals on a weekly basis for a few months, and over time I noticed that the quality and taste of the food declined. Initially, the food was great and my fiancé and I were very pleased with their services. However, we later noticed they weren't even cooking their vegetables all the way through..they were tasteless and difficult to chew. So we decided to add a few things to our dislikes file (which is useless because they send you those items anyway). After sending us items on our dislike list for two weeks straight, we decided to cancel. I called on a Thursday and they absolutely refused to let me cancel for the following week and failed to acknowledge any mistake on their end. They do not care about customer satisfaction, and speaking with one of their supervisors confirmed that belief when he was rude and continued to deny my request to cancel. They charged me $100 for the following week and dropped off a bag at my doorstep with food items. Thankfully, I have a great credit card company who is fighting with them after I called to dispute the charge. To give you an idea of how terrible their customer service is, I had never filed a dispute in my life with any other company, but these people are beyond unprofessional, rude, and deceitful. They are nice to you until you tell them you want to cancel. If you choose to try them, I strongly encourage you to use a reputable credit card company who will fight for your rights as a paying customer, cause you'll need it if you ever plan to cancel. Like many other reviewers, I wish I had read...
