Action Sports Bar Sumner is my new favorite place to go for food and drinks and to hang out with friends. Honestly, It's my new favorite place to go, even if I just want a quick bite or drink. Why, you ask? Where do I begin? The food...Holy cow anything smoked is amazing, their breakfasts are amazing, any time day or night, and don't get me started on the bowl their taco salad comes in! I haven't quite tried their whole menu, but I've yet to have anything that left me disappointed. The staff...seriously, from the cooks, to the wait staff, to Eddy, the karaoke guy, to the owner himself, everyone I've met there is so friendly and seem to just want to make sure their customers are having an amazing experience. The drinks...you get a real drink here! Enough said on that! The view...OMG if you can come at sunset, the view from the deck is insane! The prices...so reasonable for what you get and the quality you get. And the cherry on top...Mama Tate's cookies! Order a warmed chocolate chip one. I dont even like chocolate chip cookies, and I'm drooling just thinking about Mama Tate's! I could keep going on about why I love this place so much, but all this talking about it is making me crave it so time to go get an order of smoked wings, a cookie and whiskey coke! If you're looking for cheap drinks in your typical bar and grill atmosphere, it's not a bad place. The servers are actually very friendly and the food is pretty good. But the food is overpriced and the service pretty incompetent.

We ask for menus and then seat ourselves. Five minutes pass, the server comes by and asks if we know what we want. We repeat that we'd like some menus. We order our food, but 15 minutes later our server comes back and asks what our orders were, because she hadn't written it down and hadn't even put in the order. Thirty minutes later we get a bacon burger with no bacon, the wrong cheese, and mayo (the server had said the burger came with no sauces). She apologized and brought a corrected burger out 10 minutes later, with half of the fries, but now cold fries. We couldn't be bothered to complain. Finally, the soda refill we got was out of syrup. So we let our server know. Got that refill 15 minutes later, still just soda water. Sadly, this has been our typical experience with the service here on three occasions and between two...

This place is great! I was visiting from out of town and have a load of friends in the area, so we planned a karaoke night out. If I still lived here, I would become a regular. The food was good - it's a little above standard bar food in that they offer things like fried green beans and balsamic Brussels sprouts, and they were delicious. They have a deck for outside seating with an amazing view of the valley, and there is ample seating inside as well. There's a pool table, if that's what you're looking for. The karaoke was top notch - they have a great sound system, and KJ Pablo was a blast. Big shout out to the bartenders as well; they were super friendly and sang some karaoke as well. My entire group had a fabulous time and we'll definitely go back the next time...
