Gravity Coffee: More Interested in Pets Than Paying Customers
On Sunday, 12/10/2023 at 1:26pm My wife and I pulled into the drive-thru, hopeful for a quick caffeine fix. But our optimism quickly turned to disgust. The server, engaged in a conversation with what appeared to be neighbor, barely acknowledged our existence. She blatantly ignored our presence, and casually petting the neighbors dog with the same hand she would later use to touch their coffee.
As if the blatant disregard weren't enough, she then proceeded to grab their coffee lid with the paw-caressed fingers and hand it off to the neighbor, still lost in their dialogue. By now, three cars had piled up behind us, but the server seemed oblivious of the growing line or her abysmal customer service.
Rather than risk a coffee tainted by dog germs and terrible customer service, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Gravity Coffee lost two paying customers and gained a scathing review, all thanks to their employee's bizarre priorities. Consider it a wake-up call, Gravity. Your baristas need a crash course in basic hygiene and customer service, or you'll be closing your new stores as fast as you...
Read moreI had ordered a triple 24 ounce iced coffee, but the barista handed me a 16 ounce instead. I had said that I ordered a 24 ounce, and all she said was she rang it in as a 16 ounce. She was clearly not going to make it right for me, even though I paid $9.20 for the drink, $11.20 with tip. I ended up going into the store to get the correct drink I ordered. She ended up throwing out the 16 ounce drink, and started to make a 24 ounce drink. She mentioned the prices had recently gone up. Once she made the drink, she charged me ANOTHER $9.20 FOR THE DRINK SHE SHOULD HAVE MADE THE FIRST TIME. I'm not sure if the barista was on something. But the lack of quality customer service was horrible. I also noticed that even though I didn't sign the sales slip for the second drink, the barista had the nerve to add a $1.00 tip. I've tried calling the store, but even after verifying the phone number, I can't ever get the call to go through. I've tried calling the corporate office in Pacific, WA. But all I ever get is a busy signal. This was probably the most terrible experience at a coffee stand I've ever...
Read moreCurrently NOT a good spot for a meeting AND/OR if you're hungry! Inside @ 8:30am on a Friday, been in line for almost 15 minutes and still 3 people in front of me. With a slammed busy drive-thru that takes out 1 person completely. This leaves only 1 other person for the inside making drinks and taking payments. It's painfully slow but if you're meeting someone then you're pretty much stuck. Then....NO FOOD WHATSOEVER. No oatmeal, bagels, or cookies. Dude says "nah...I don't think we've had any food for a couple of weeks" and nothing else. No apologies or nothing even though I'm staring at a large glass cooler for food, it's completely empty. Meanwhile they have a Winco next door with plenty of bagels. Just sayin. About to enter a 1 hour meeting hungry. Thanks Gravity!
P.S. Now next in line, almost...
