Mary’s Kitchen is the definition of Southern comfort—a classic, down-home country diner that feels like stepping into a bygone era. Locally-owned and operated, this gem carries the kind of charm and authenticity that’s hard to come by these days. From the moment you walk through the door, the smell of sizzling bacon and fresh coffee greets you like an old friend.
Hashbrowns were crisp, golden, and cooked to perfection. Bacon was perfectly cooked to order and the country ham was salty and delicious! It’s clear the folks at Mary’s take pride in sourcing quality ingredients, and it shows in every bite.
The service at Mary’s Kitchen is just as warm as the food. We were greeted and helped by three generations -- mother, daughter and grandmother -- who all treated us like family even though it was our first visit.
If there’s one critique, it’s that you might leave wishing you had room for more—everything on the menu looks tempting, and the portions are generous enough to satisfy even the heartiest appetite.

Read moreThis is a gem! Only open Monday threw Friday until 11 a.m. Breakfast only. If you haven't tried Mary's you have missed out! I always say it's hard to mess up breakfast unless ya eggs aren't done or ya bacon is still squealing. None of this happens at Mary's Kitchen. I had chocolate gravy biscuits for the first time here and OMG were they divine! Regular sausage gravy is not so loaded with sausage or black pepper which I love it not so spicy it does have just the right amount of sausage in it OM eggs were cooked to perfection as were crispy hashbrowns and crispy bacon. Don't know if biscuits are scratch biscuits or not but I'd bet money they are. Prices are to cheap! This place is staffed by 79 yr old Mary and her granddaughter it's where the locals go. Go see them when you are in...
Read moreMary’s is THE place for a fantastic and authentic great Southern breakfast. The eggs are cooked to perfection. Grits are creamy and flavorful. The breakfast meats like country ham are locally sourced, the biscuits and gravy are homemade, savory and fantastic. But the hash browns are to die for. Each order is separately grated from select potatoes onto the griddle and cooked in butter until golden brown and deliciously crispy. You can find fancier places, but not better breakfasts. Not fancy, but damned good!!! Mary makes every breakfast with love, caring and years of...
