Unique Cafe — Restaurant in Boscobel

Very nice diner/restaurant easily visible with on street parking. We were lured in by the smell of whatever was cooking that day and our growling stomachs made the decision. We were not disappointed by the food nor the service! Our table ordered the fried fish and broasted dinner specials of the day, which included the salad bar. First off, the salad bar is the best I have had ever in Wisconsin (it also included slice of homemade rhubarb bread this day!). The dinner specials were excellent as well, served hot! We topped off our meal with a slice of banana cream pie, shared. (Definitely should have each gotten our own). Service was great; server was pleasant and sociable. We arrived after the lunch hour so plenty of seating. I definitely recommend dining at Unique Cafe if you are in the area. I've visited The Unique Cafe many times in my life so far, and I've never been disappointed in the food I've had here. But, not only is the food good; the waitstaff are also good people, also. The waitstaff are willing to joke around with you if you're the type to make some cheeky jokes and puns. Also, they've never messed up my order, which I really appreciate. (They're quite competent people.) In addition to the good food and good people, both the building and its decorations are works of art. The outside of the building is limestone, and the way it's built reminds me of a castle. I recently visited Unique Cafe with a couple of friends. When they asked if I had ever been there before, I initially said no. However, as I settled in, I realized that I had actually been there previously, although it had undergone some changes since my last visit.

One noticeable change was the brighter and more open atmosphere, which was a pleasant surprise compared to my previous experience.

Despite my initial desire for burgers, we arrived early in the morning, and this restaurant was serving only breakfast. To my surprise, the breakfast options turned out to be exceptional.
