I'm part of a charity service that takes crippled girls to operas and then a restaurant of their choice. After a wonderful showing of HMS Pinafore at the Shreveport Opera, my wonderful charge for the night requested a trip to McDonald's. Unfortunately this was the location I chose. We ordered out food and it luckily came out correct. Then the unexpected happened. Halfway through choking down our meal, every light went out. After a brief pause in stunned silence, I went in search of an employee to explain the situation. After I found a kind young woman hidden in the back of the kitchen, I immediately heard her exclaim: "We closed, we leavin!" I was quite confused. I told her that we, her customers, we're still finishing our meal. After being told we had to leave we packed up the remainder of our meal, her crutches, and set about figuring out how to unlock the door (since the employee refused). This has, by far, been my worse McDonald's experience. My adorable new crippled friend was horrified at the treatment we received. I recommend an instant raise for this employee to 15...
Read moreI have not been here a single time and their ice cream machine not be broken, which I've come to expect that from all McDonalds, but this seems excessive. Ordered 2 of the 2 packs of apple pies for a total of 4 pies and a cup of ice cream and paid for my food. I get to the window and they tell me they are out of ice cream, hands me my pies and walks off. I tell her I already paid for ice cream, so she asks if she could get me anything else. I asked for my money back, which I got. Imagine my surprise when I get home and realize there are only 2 pies in the bag. Go back, tell them I was short 2 pies, they tell me they dont have any pies ready, that it'll be 14 minutes and asks if I want something else. I tell them no, that I want the pies, so they are currently making the apple pies.
At this piont, its not even about the apple pies. Its the principle. The employees are extremely nice and very personable, but this location seems to be a bit unorganized and could work on professionalism and supply issues.
The store itself is extremely clean, so...
Read moreI remember going to Micky D's as a child with the playground outside. It felt magical. Our happy meal always came in some theme shaped container that we could play with and the cookies were amazing. It's not the same anymore. There are items offered but the mechanisms needed to make them are always out of order. The new staff members are better and I recommend ordering online to eliminate the greater chance of errors with your order. Because when I used to order at the speaker Every time it was wrong...we only ordered a cheese burger with meat cheese and pickles. Once they literally gave use a grilled cheese. One time they gave us a hamburger with pickles, one time they gave us a cheeseburger with everything but pickles but recently with us ordering online we have only had...
