Ordered pickup here due to another restaurant in town being closed for dine-in. Came back home noticing our order was missing multiple items and our fried shrimp’s texture was terrible and not fresh. Called the store, notified them, and their manager on shift Galen initially said she can give us the missing items, but could not give us a new order of shrimp unless we bring back the original order per restaurant policy.
Very disgruntled as we spent nearly $150 on food that was mediocre and had to go back to the store for forgetting key items. I called back Galen to tell her to forget about replacing the shrimp but she told me she was making us a new order as she checked the kitchen, and come to find out the shrimp was not being made to the store’s standard. My wife also called saying the lobster tail was hard as a rock prior to reaching the store.
Galen provided the missing items from our order, a new order of fresh shrimp, and even provided us a new lobster tail upon notifying her about what my wife said earlier. Galen went above and beyond to ensure our experience was not terrible by correcting our issues. We enjoyed our food and experience with this location. Thank you...
Read moreShane’s has been a favorite. We had a group of 8. A gentleman in our group ordered crawfish same as 2 others. While he was eating a worker, looked like possibly an in charge person came storming out of the kitchen. Mind you this was about 10 minutes into enjoying his food. She looked at his platter and said, this isn’t yours as she literally snatched his food away. Food that he had touched, bitten out of the corn and had shells mixed in. She said they gave him too much. When she came back I ask what she was doing w the food she took. She said throw it away. I’m pretty sure that didn’t happen or she wouldn’t have snatched it away. Pretty sure the crawfish were Re served. I was watching what they were doing. Health Department really needs to check this type of behavior and serving. Very poor decision on the person in charge. Even if mistake you should never snatch food almost out of the customers mouth. There were 7 others of us watching in amazement. Never ever should this type of service be condoned. ...
Read moreSHANES on East Texas....Today was not a good visit to one of my favorite places to eat.... 😕 Upon entering the establishment I watched as the cashier acknowledged one customer after another. However, when I approached the register he just stood there, 😳 saying nothing. As I looked at the menu... I waited for him to acknowledge my sister and I standing there. He did not until she asked if he HE was ready. So we ordered... Brisket and Sausage...and Ribs which Mine were not hot. Salad was good except considering the price they should give TWO Dressings instead of One. For the price paid... ALL Of My Food should have been Hot and Fresh. (No One Ever Bothered to ask if everything was Ok.... So we Never had an opportunity to share our concerns) 🤔😕 AND After working in the restaurant industry...
