Southern Pho: Taste of Vietnam — Restaurant in Bossier City

I called in to place a simple to go order for 2 strawberry bubble teas. I was 5 minutes down the road and on a time crunch. I wanted to call it in and have it paid for, so I could run in, grab and go. Unfortunately the lady or owner who answered the phone cut me off after requesting the 2 teas and rudely told me how she was not going to let me place that to go order because most people say they are on the way and show up 30 minutes later or don't show at all and she was not going to make them for me because she didn't know how long it would take me to get there. I tried to speak to let her know I was a few minutes away and in a hurry, but I was unable to because she hung up on me. I called her back and tried to tell her I was already on the way and that was rude of her to peak to me without letting me speak and she hung up on me again. I used to come here with my friends, I've eaten here often. I'll never be back after being treated like that over a to go order. I'll order all of my bubble teas from the Bubble Express near Barksdale and will get my pho and Vietnamese else where. She was so rude and so nasty towards me. I just can't believe a business owner would speak to a client that way over the phone...

1 star experience because today I walked in and was not greeted. No worries. She's making coffee. Owner lady looks up and asks if I ordered. Me: Yes, I called in for steak Pho and brisket pho. Another lady walks in. Owner lady: Okay. Then proceeds to talk to the lady behind me to ask if she ordered Shrimp pho. 2guest confirms she did.

Owner Lady says to me "Let me get her.." I didn't get a chance to reply before she started pulling the lady's pho and never said if I had another X minutes. Or, if my order was ready. Y'all I turned and exited. No worries. No words. No yelling. No scene to be made. No can I get the manager nor owner. I left.

Money isn't easy neither free. It's a choice to patronize anyone anywhere in this economy. I refuse to give my money to anyone to mistreat...

I tried this place tonight after my husband’s big back coworker said it was good. He DID say get the shrimp pho, which my niece had and she liked. I had the Beef and Pork Vietnamese soup and my husband and the Seafood Soup. Both were not good, there was an underlying taste that was quite similar to vomit to be honest. The fresh shrimp spring rolls were good. The eggs rolls were little bitty skinny rolls, like small spring rolls, but okay. There was also a table with dirty dishes and a water bottle, as if someone sat and ate lunch and left the mess. We were there well over 15 minutes and it was never bussed and cleaned. Overall, this was the worse pho-like soup I’ve ever had and the ambiance is definitely lacking. Would not recommend, unless for fresh spring rolls and...
