Sept. 2025: I love this place. I consider myself a regular. The staff are so professional and friendly. I'm obsessed with the falafel. Has become the ONLY place in town I will order falafe- it isn't dry, it's so herbaceous, and when you get it in a sandwich they crumble it so you can actually eat the sandwich and get everything in the bite instead of the falafel falling out of the sandwich. I also love the hummus, the pita, the rice and the cheesecake! For holidays they've made saboda, which were heaven on earth. Great for vegetarians, great for people who eat halal, my fav lunch spot in Bossier, for sure.

Catering order (April 2025): Ordered catering from here recently and highly recommend it!! They're fantastic! I got lots of questions about where the food was from, my guests loved it!

First time (2022): Went here with friends last night and had a wonderful time! The dining room is clean, well lit, and so cute. Our server was attentive and sweet. The food was wonderful! Especially the pita, it was fresh baked and served warm with hummus, which was also delicious. Our only complaint was that it was kind of chilly (came in November), but once the food arrived we warmed up. I highly recommend the falafel! Will eat here again, for sure. My goal next time is to not fill up on pita so I can...

I can't give them enough stars. Mashallah. Its amazing authentic food. Very flavorful. My kids loved the beef kebobs. My husband loved his shawerma. I got the appetizer. Its a lot of food. Mashallah. And very very tasty. My daughter is autistic and they didn't make us feel unwanted. They were so kind to our kids. It does take a while so don't expect speedy service because they stay busy with online orders. But everything is also made FRESH....chicken kabobs. The kofta. The drinks even...i was so happy. I usually go to Dallas to have anything merely authentic. My brothers and sisters...this is a gem. I pray they are able to open even a bigger place. The options are great. Price is good. And the kenafa is made to order and was delicious with a cup of mint tea. 😋 Eid Mubarak everyone...i hope we can make it in to dine with you soon. We came during Ramadan, we weren't fasting that day because wr had emergency issues and travel...but they didn't make us feel badly! They had a lot of online orders. So that contributes to the wait. Call in if you're taking to go. But we will sit in. Alhamdulilah for them. I'll upload pictures from my husbands...

We were traveling through the area on our way home from visiting family and looked for restaurants near our hotel. Taza Kabob and Grill immediately caught my eye because we rarely have the opportunity to get Mediterranean food in our part of Texas. We were not disappointed. We split a combo plate and the appetizer plate between the two of us and still needed a to-go box for the leftovers (lunch tomorrow!). I learned that Taza means "fresh" in Arabic and the food lives up to the name. Everything was absolutely fantastic. It's not a fancy restaurant if that's what you're looking for, but it's clean and pleasant. The food is worth every penny, and the owner was very friendly, answering all our questions about different dishes that we were not familiar with. It is family-owned and operated by two brothers and their father, who immigrated from the Middle East. Everything is authentic. When locally-sourced spices didn't taste like "back home," they imported them from the Middle East. If we lived here, we'd be regulars for sure. We will certainly come here again if we're in the Shreveport-Bossier area. Highly...

Highly recommended. Went and tried it last week and the owner, Sam (sorry if spelled incorrectly), really took care of me and was an awesome guy! The food was incredible. My wife had the chicken shawarma and I had the gyro plate — Gyro and chicken were incredibly flavorful. Hummus was the best I’ve had in the area since moving here a little over a year ago. The tzatziki was also great! They do make everything to order, so you may want to order ahead of time if getting it to-go. All in all, definitely my new favorite Greek place in Bossier/Shreveport. I also asked the owner about catering for an upcoming event and he was willing to offer options that I requested which were not on the menu (specifically, stuffed grape leaves). You don’t find places with that type of customer service often anymore. Highly recommended to anyone living in SBC or anyone passing through. I, unfortunately, have not gotten to try their smoothies and other non-Greek options, but will update my review when I do. Top secret tip: the fries are INCREDIBLE

Run, do not walk, (okay, maybe drive) to Taza in Bossier City on Benton Road. It was absolutely amazing. It’s a small, quaint space and very clean. (It’s where the old Roly Poly’s sandwich place used to be.). The owners were so friendly and helpful. And an added bonus that you are able to see your food being prepared. I got the lamb chops and my wife and daughter shared a combination platter. We left full and with a full to-go box. All of the meat was so tender and juicy with just the right amount of char. The yellow rice was very fragrant and I couldn’t stop eating it. And the hummus was rich and vibrant. Go and support this establishment because it’s now one of our favorites and we want it to stick around!

Nice clean restaurant located in a strip mall. The host was a very nice young man who answered my questions. We ordered a small humus - very smooth not too much garlic. Nice portion ended with half of it to take home. Chicken shawarma sandwich with fries. Very tasty, the garlic yogurt it was served with hit the spot. Gryo sandwich and fries. So I notice this gets knocked in a lot of the reviews because it is presliced meat, I have eaten many a gyro and the flavor is on point. Would it be nice if it came off a spit, sure, had a little bark absolutely but they don't have it. The sauce was also a nice touch. The fries were served hot and nicely seasoned with a touch of salt making them a 10 out of 10. I will be back.
