The service was fair. I received my order quickly after placing an order. The cashier failed to give me the drinks ordered as he gave me a bag with the other menu items ordered. I had to request that he please give me the drinks that were ordered. He could not recall what drinks were placed on order and needed a friendly reminder of what drinks were ordered. On the flip side things, the cashier upgraded the order of the strawberry shake to a large, and provided us with two additional cups for a soft drink at no additional cost. He was friendly and had a positive attitude. He wasn't sweating the small things. By that I mean that he remained calm and professional although he was made aware of a mistake in the order that I placed. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time of my visit and the eating area was clean and well maintained with everything fully in stock and easily accessible. The food was as I expected, good, except for their signature French Fries. They were dry and overcooked. They didn't look freshly made nor did they taste fresh. That was disappointing because I love McDonald's fries and they failed to meet my expectations and satisfaction. I would have considered returning them for a freshly made batch or for a refund, but I was already home sitting around the dinner table in the dining room with my girls about to enjoy a family meal together in good company with good intentions to spend some quality family time engaging in conversation filling up the room full of our laughter and full of our love for one another. Other than that, I would likely return to this location on another day in the future. I just don't know how soon my next visit will be as it is not easy to transport myself to this location due to not having reliable transportation. The manager a young Cape Verdean woman came to try to resolve the problem only to make matters worse. She was extremely combative to the point of telling me it was my fault the order didn’t go in right. I’m a manager myself the simple ask I asked if her was to rering the order using the code which waiting 15 minutes anyways refreshed the code. She refused to rering the meal (not make a fresh meal) because of the possibility that if it happened again and she would have to do another refund again. Since she refused to rering the order she gave me two options verbally too either accept the price the way it was or to take a refund she refused adamantly to just do a simple refund and sale. she didn’t realize I understand Cape Verde creole and Portuguese so I heard every disrespectful remark she made about me. I wasn’t rude at all but rather asked multiple times to just rering the sale at the right price which was .29 Big Mac 1/4 pounder or a 10 piece. After going back and forth she said she would no longer allow me to buy food I guess that night if I came back into the drive thru. Took 7 minutes attempting to do a refund on a card that shouldn’t have been charged because the order shouldn’t have been submitted when I said ma’am let me show you the code at the window because this isn’t making any sense. To the tell the customer the card you gave them isn’t the right card when in fact after telling her to read the bottom of the receipt the same very receipt I only had a couple seconds to look at and she has hopefully some time in the game to atleast know how to tell where the last four digits of a card would be...
Read moreI just went through the drive-thru tonight (7/14/17 between 10:450pm and 10:50pm). Only one out of the 2 machines was working, and when I said hello no one said anything for a good 45 seconds. So I thought the machine wasn't working and I proceeded to the payment window only to find this extremely rude boy telling that I can't order here and that I have to go back around. When I told him I thought the machine wasn't working because I kept saying hello and no one answered, he replied in this nasty tone and I quote:" if someone doesn't answer you it's for a reason." Well I can't read your mind, and there's no way for me to know that you can't answer me at this time. Customer service 101: if you can't attend to a customer you say please hold. He clearly can't multi task. I understand there's a process, and I would have gone back around; however, it's not so much what he said, it's how he said it (also, I didn't want him to spit on my food).
