I’ve been trying to visit this coffee shop for years and every time i come to visit my parents, its either off season or a holiday so they are closed. I was so happy when I visited recently on a week day and they were open. I honestly didn’t know what to except walking in, just another average coffee shop in the area, but wow was I surprised. It’s like stepping into another world here on the cape. The atmosphere was so unique. The menu was large and plenty of delicious options to chose from. The girl that waited on me was so nice and told me to take my time being the first time there. For a Tuesday morning, in the middle of April, it was quite busy with people ordering, sitting inside and out enjoying their coffee and meal. They had everything from sandwiches, salads and muffins, to bagels and the most delicious looking French toast bread pudding, I’ve ever seen. That would have been my go to, but with summer around the corner, I passed and had an iced large vanilla latte with oat milk. It was delicious! Not too strong, but a perfect smooth concoction. While waiting for my coffee, there were all sorts of gifts and books, funny items to look at. I could describe it as almost like an urban outfitters feel, very chill and laid back with a welcoming vibe. I will definitely be back when the summer...
Read moreA friend and I thought we would give this place a try this morning. We spent about 20 minutes(The wait time is not an issue, this is Cape Cod during the summer on a beautiful Saturday) in line outside on the ramp to the front door, only to make it to the front door and find about an 8” (+/-)step into the actual shop. My friend is in a wheelchair. I went in and looked around at the back exit/porch to see if it was accessible that way- nope, steps there too. I walk back to the entrance and said to one of the girls on staff ‘we have been waiting for 20 minutes outside on the ramp to get in only to find a large step, is there no way for a wheelchair to get in here?’ To which her only response was ‘no’. No apology, no effort to try to make it right offering to bring something out to us etc. Nothing. Now, for us to leave the same way we came- down the ramp, every single person waiting in line had to move for us to go back down the ramp. It was a beyond frustrating experience. They even list their location as wheelchair accessible. We drove about 10 minutes down into Falmouth to Coffee Obsession (wheelchair accessible, courteous staff and great...
Read moreNot worth the wait. Holy cape grade flation!!! This place does not deserve 4.7 stars in any urban setting. Fortunately it is not and standards are low due to lack of competition in the area. Very few options in this area. I am assuming decor helps this place big time with that rating.
8 AM opening on Sunday? Really? A coffee shop should be so lucky. Is this a hobby or a real business? Bagel sandwich was horrible (Dunkin does better and that is not a compliment to Dunkin). I do mean horrible. Day old bagel toasted with unmelted cheese and smallest egg ever.
Long lines, average service. Deck out back is nice to sit outside and the atmosphere feels nice for the cape. This place is 3.5 stars however my 1 star is my attempt to reduce the average rating as in no way does it belong at 4.7 (at time of writing). That score would suggest they do everything very well which they do not. Please join me and give this place a realistic rating - rate it...
