Marylous Coffee — Restaurant in Bourne

Been a longtime Marylous customer for yrs without any complaints. Was just wondering, I was at the drive thru today and the customer in front of me at the window was having a discrepancy with the transaction. I then go ahead and get my coffee and danish. Now I know every so often then prices of food etc go up. For months the price where I go has been 4.83 for a coffee and the danish. Today the employee says, that'll be 5 dollars. So you're telling me now coffee went up in a $0.17 cent increment?!? Any time I have ever seen an increase in price it would be marginal with a few cents. I know it was for the cost of the coffee because on the danish wrapper the same price was labeles like it has always been and was the same price as well. Update: Revisited recently and had a much better experience, but still a wonky drink and was over charged with no ability to answer why the extra dollar. My usual store doesn't know either lol

6yrs ago: I just got a drink from here. I'd never been to this one specifically, but I always order the exact same drink no matter which Marylou's I go to, and occasionally they're a little off but nothing to cry about. And usually they put milk in it even though I specifically asked not to and state my allergy. They're always out of SOMETHING, especially the Cotton Candy Drink. The staff is "HIT OR MISS" . They hire super pretty chicks, so they'll be expecting a huge tip for minimal work , but I will say 90% of the girls I've encountered over there are hardworking & very courteous. The items they DO have in stock are ALL delicious & BETTER than D&Ds AND Starbucks, but the EXTREMELY high prices & lack of proper ordering of inventory leave me no choice but to give this potential 6STAR establishment a mere 3 STARS !!! Drop the prices by 15-20% (or at least less than Dunkins & I'll change my rating. I wanted to give it 1-2 STARS but the taste of everything & the kindness of the girls telling me "NO HONEY WE'RE OUT OF THAT" makes me give 3 STARS.
