Spicy Mexico — Restaurant in Bowie

I have eaten it spicy Mexico Bunches of times over the years I even ate at restaurants that were there before spicy Mexico. I remember the day when I was a little kid and it was called travel Inn restaurant but back to spicy Mexico. I know over the years eating at this restaurant the owner / manager whatever you call him he has sort of a not so nice ambience to him, when you asked questions he's not nice to you there's been times. I really don't mess with him I just do what I do with my family we eat there but once in a great while we order out to take home we ordered queso large queso and the order did not have the queso called back to talk to the restaurant he answered I asked him kindly about the queso and I had asked him I didn't see quaso in the order and could you refund the money back to my card if he charged us, he went to start reading off the order and I said you don't have to read out the order it was correct but I just wanted to make sure we didn't get charged for the queso cuz it's like seven or eight dollars. He sounded not so nice because I was asking him about the order so he said we never got a queso but the way he acts when you ask him questions and what I've read in reviews previously wrote he doesn't seem so nice he gets agitated easily. I'm not saying he's a bad person but I think when it comes to the food he wants it to be perfect and there could be times when people order food it's not perfect like when I read he wouldn't redo the orders for people who ordered food. The food is good it is a clean environment but I just think he gets over ram bunches with people and agitated when they questions about the food. Everything is always good it's just the fact that when it comes to asking questions about the food not being so good I think he is treated not so nice kind of person. We were there about 8 pm on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but we were seated immediately. Our waitress brought a bowl of queso to the table and asked what we wanted to drink. She brought our drinks within a couple minutes and asked our dinner order. A few more minutes go by and we still don't have chips to dip in the queso. Another waitress, who was better at her job than our waitress, walks by carrying a tray and asks us, "You still don't have chips?" I said no. She told a guy and he brought us chips and salsa. Our food was good. We ordered the #6, the taco plate and the #2, a taco and 2 cheese and onion enchiladas. Both served with rice and refried beans. Our waitress came back about half way through us eating to ask if we're going to want anything else. We both said no at that point since we were still eating so she gave us our check. She never appeared again to see if everything was alright or if we changed our mind about wanting anything else. I wanted a to go cup for my soda. My husband finally stood up and the waitress who made sure we finally received chips made eye contact with him and asked if he needed something. She had a guy bring me a cup and lid right away. Our waitress needs some more training from the other waitress. Serving is a hard job. My daughter was in the restaurant and bar industry for years. But you need to make sure your customers are attended to. Our waitress was pleasant in the little interactions we had with her. I've never been served queso without having to ask and pay for it so that was a big plus in my book to...

2/18/24 Started out woderful as usual but then it went down hill after we ordered. Very disappointed in the service today. We ordered before other people even came in, then they got 2 big tables and our waitress was to busy for us. Asked someone else to go get our food. Then he proceeded to give our food to another table multiple times placing our plates in front of multiple people. Then sat it back on the tray and went to get their food. Then our waitress comes back started helping big tables again, then saw we didn't have our food that was sitting on the tray by other tables. Then she tried to give us our plate and when we told her what had happened. She walked away putting our food back on the tray and proceeded to help the 2 big tables again. Not saying a word to us. So we left and did not get to enjoy one of our favorite places to eat. We eat here quite frequently never have we ever been treated so poorly.
