There's a reason I've never given them a tip. Their portion sizes are stingy compared to price. Order ice cream in a cup and they won't even fill it up and the first and last time I splurged and ordered an avalanche (ice cream with candy mixed in) the center was completely hollow.

It's WELL worth the drive up 25 to Perrysburg to go to Mr. Freeze at the corner of 25 and South Boundary Street. Mr. Freeze is inexpensive with generous portion sizes. I'll warn you now, if you like a lot of ice cream, order a small cup because a large cup is far too much for the average person to consume in one sitting. I throw a dollar in those girls tip cups every single time I go which are usually labeled "college fund". Oh, and another warning, the lines can be legendarily long in the evening, for obvious good reason. People like a good value!

The other reviewers who claim Sundae Station has generous portion sizes have obviously never had the pleasure of going to Mr. Freeze in Perrysburg. Just go up there once and you'll understand how ice cream is supposed to be served.

We've been here quite a few times and have had normal experiences each time. This evening we showed up about 8:30 or a few minutes before on a nice night to get ice cream from their to-go window. There were several people there coming and going. They opened the order window and told us as we were getting ready to place our order that they were closing early and slammed it shut before I could even really process what was said. Their posted hours are until 9 PM. No sooner than I could return to my car, 6 or 7 employees all walked out and got into their vehicles to leave. They didn't say a word to the remaining customers. It was really bizarre. Not sure what was going on but it's unlikely we will return. Super rude experience. Wow this place is beyond ridiculous and I’m seriously disappointed in the service. For someone that comes as often as I do and the mere fact I spend almost 50$ this trip just makes it even worse! I ordered 2 chicken tender baskets and told the girl both with ranch.
