Willy-Yums Hotdogs & More — Restaurant in Bradenton

On an overlooked section of 14th St West, across from the grocery store, is Willy-Yums hot dog shop. The name alone is enough for me to stop and when was the last time you saw a roadside hot dog shop? The only real downside is the seating. It's all outdoors. There is copious shade and a fan but it's still outdoors in FL. You won't be lingering afterwards. And there are only 5 parking spaces anyway, all back onto 14th St. northbound, so make room for others. One last item, they have no restroom available. The menu, which includes more than just frankfurters, is right next to the ordering window. I went with combo #2 (2 dogs, a drink & a side) choosing a Detroit Coney dog (for this Michigan boy) and a Bacon Mac & Cheese dog. Got the coleslaw for my side & can of soda (pop). $10 total, tax included! The slaw was generic, a bit overly dressed but solid. The all-beef weiners seemed a bit overcooked, just a little more resistance to the teeth than anticipated. Very tasty, though. The lady had my order ready and on the table within 3 minutes. Very friendly, too. I'll gladly stop by again. When it isn't 90+ F outside. Or maybe get them to go as that is an option....

I did not get fries and my first dog was plain with ketchup/mustard! You stole or lied in the review! Refund my card for the overcharge and tip. If not I'll have to file fraudulent charges. I ordered chips and was offered off brand plain chips! I can't believe you!!

How could what I ordered be what I got but what you show on your receipt be different and not what I got? Someone is stealing. The person I ordered to is who prepared our meal.

We ordered 4 dogs. First was plain and conversed about bc she assumed it was for our dog. Two others were the ones with Mac n cheese and the last one had Fritos.

We got 2 cans of soda and 2 off brand plain chips! How could what I ordered be what I got but not what you charged me for and be what was made?

That's very concerning for a consumer and should concern you as a business owner.

Willy-Yums is the first "Hot Dog Joint" that my wife and I have ever visited and it was definitely an awesome place to go. The environment was very nice and laid back. The service is top notch and all the food on the menu looked delicious. Myself personally I got the "All beef Bacon, Mac & Cheese hot dog" and it was to die for. My wife got a "chili cheese dog" and she said its the best chili cheese dog she has ever had. The owners are also very involved with the local community and truly care about those around them. You have definitely got to check it out because you will be extremely satisfied. Not to mention the prices were extremely reasonable for good quality food. We will definitely be back to visit Willy-Yums! You're missing out if you haven't gone here yet! P.S.
